Beat Margarito, KOed Quintana, and shut out Winky Wright, nothing at all. He has acomplished more than Cotto has. Ok fair enough P will is willing to virtually fight anybody...but beating them is another thing, even if they arnt accepting the challange ... this guys huge compared to people at 147...even huge at the other weights.... Saying that about cotto just because he beat marg? Look what happened after margs wraps were taken from him.... Ko'd by mosley, probably because mosley wernt even being hurt by a single punch.... Hes been avoided by everyone.... Thats why hes ranked in the top p4p. Lets not exaggerate he has not been avoided by everyone. Some top fighters are/were willing to fight him.

Williams does have a solid resume, and wins over Margarito, Winky, Phillips and Quintana are nothing to scoff at but I feel P-Will at times is given a bit too much credit. I mean even this upcoming fight vs Martinez is a solid opponent but it is a bit disappointing the fight is happening at Middleweight. oh well, at least he's staying active.

Bernard Hopkins had a lot of trouble with Winky Wright and Paul Williams dominates him. Bernard Hopkins hasn't fought in over a year. Paul Williams has fought six times in two years. Shane Mosley looked like shit against Mayorga and beat a version of Margarito that was not in shape and probably weight drained and without plaster of course, and Williams struggled with Margarito a little bit. But Paul took the twelfth round when the fight was getting too close for comfort. He also beat Winky Wright convincingly who Shane has a loss to. Shane Mosley has only fought four times within the last three years and also has a defeat against Cotto. Paul Williams as mentioned before has fought six times within the last two years. Why is Williams not deserving to be in the top 5 P4P, but these other guys are? Martinez is also a more highly regarded fighter than Berto is.

Bully,not many people know who Phillips was & most people on here are not willing to admit that the Winky that fought Punisher still beats anyone else fighting at 160,or 154 for that matter!!They always say"but who has he fought",but most are too ignorant to see that if they would fight him,he'd fight every & anyone between 147-160 if they would fight!!Almost all the superstars have choices on who they fight,the Punisher doesn't,even pavlik was shook!!

its shame too many ppl keep avoiding him, hopefully he will get a fight with pavlik and then go on to big fights. He aint achieved that much cause ppl keep ducking him, like Floyd for instance, beating an ancient Winky isn't something Id brag about, although his loss to B Hop was a bit closer than the scorecards suggested i think

Narrow win over Margarito (who's big wins are nearly completely discredited). Completely outboxed by Quintana- which can't be ignored. He also beat a Winky that is way, way, way past prime. I've never seen Winky look so slow, even against Hopkins when he was bloated. Williams has skill and definite potential. But he is being overrated because of his frame.

Williams is a badass and will give pretty much anyone at 154 and 160 problems, but the way people talk around here you could have sworn he already destroyed Pavlik, Martinez and Mosley.
