MMA is not just grappling, and submissions.
MMA is BOXING, Jiu Jitsu, Mu Tai, Judo, Kick Boxing, and wrestling all together!!!
So if boxing is only one part of MMA how in the fuk is boxing more effective you damn mongaloids???
Back in my HS days, if you kick in a scrap, ur gay. Punch like a man! No homo grappling!
lol this was true in my highschool too, its the unspoken law in backyard, afterschool fights.
OH yeah but only because it shows you how to fight with weapons. The diffrence is fighting with weapons will most likely get you thrown in jail for murder.
A lot of Krav Maga is very similar to MMA if you take away the guns and knives. In fact there are a few UFC fighters who have a base style of Krav Maga.
it's shows you how to defend yourself, one way or the other
Im pretty sure that boxing is considered a sport. In a real fight, unfortunatly not even mma can prevent you getting smashed by a chair or table or broken bottle. They are both different sports, neither is truly fighting. Locks and holds are rendered less effective when you can eye gouge or bite the guy trying to do them to you.
remind me what Anderson Silva's boxing record is again? Him being the best stand fighter in MMA right now, I think his record is 1-1 against nobodies. If I recall, this is why he quit boxing.
I think there is even a video of him getting beat up at the wildcard gym by a nobody.
Don't ever say MMA's fighters can box.
Ugh ok could he kick or submit anyone in a boxing match? No he couldn't stupid fuk!!!! So how does his performance in a boxing match with rules against kicking and grappling translate to a street fight where he would kick and submit the shit out of any boxer any day??
Seriously fuking dumb!!

there's a few MMA fighters who've been decent amateur boxers
Krav Maga helps you more in a street fight than MMA training

And thats your opinion.

What's your fcuking point?
What's the best way to put a soccer into a soccer net???? it's certainly not kicking it. I would believe grabbing the ball and running through goal would be the most effective means to get that shiit in there. But hey, it's a goddam sport, you have to abide by rules.
The most fcuking effective style in a fight is to get a godddamm machete and swing that shiiiit up and down.
A machine gun would be better.
Better skill then MMA main events. The fool you got in your gif throwing a punch like an amateur lunging foward off balance after a poor thrown punch. Only in the MMA one could be praised for such poor skill.
He was a boxer in the same Russian program that brought up Vitali and Wladamir Moron!! And did you notice the masterful shoulder tackle that he threw to help his opponent down to the ground. He isn't lunging he's being tactical smart guy.
And why would I take your word for what a good punch is? Who do you train? How many pro fights have you had? Being a boxing fan doesn't make you an expert at boxing tecniques.
Seriously you watch a couple fights on TV and now you are Emanuel Steward LOL!!!
Sure but it's also a sport that translates into combat situations. Tennis isn't gonna help you in a fight! Well maybe if you walk around with a tennis racket all day.

Yeah and the undercard of Pacman and Cotto really showed top level boxing skills LOL!!!

my point is that it's not a fighting style,it's a sport

Your comparing apples to oranges, we all know that you have to be decent at boxing, kickbxing, BJJ, grappling, etc to be a good MMA fighter. A MMA fighter is a jack of all trade but a master of none. That being said, none of those guys holds a candle to a good boxer or else they would become boxers and make alot more money! The top MMA fighters, have middle of the road boxing skills at best.
Actually you are wrong because all Mixed Martial Artists have what is called a base style.
All of them are Champion Kick Boxers, NCAA Wrestling Champions, Jiu Jitsu Black belt masters, or Champion Mu Tai Kick Boxers who also learned other skill sets outside of the ones they mastered.
SO IN OTHERWARDS MIXED MARTIAL ARTISTS ARE MASTERS WHO NEVER STOPPED LEARNING NEW FIGHTING STYLES.
