Mayweather will not get credit for beating either of them, even if he beat them on the same night. The haters will have plenty of excuses after he KO's Pacquaio. They will say he will get KOd by Mosley. After he beats Mosley, they will have another set of excuses.
I think styles makes fights and i think Pacman is tailor made for Floyd.
Mosley on the other hand is a true welterweight has speed, strength and power.
Unless mosley shows hes done against Berto, i think he can give Floyd more trouble than Pac would
He would obviously get more credit for beating Pacquiao.
I guess it depends if he ends up virtually dominating Pacquiao, like he did with Marquez, he probably wouldn't get much credit for the fight. It's more difficult to imagine him dominating Mosley though.
Pacquiao without a doubt... Pac just WHOOPED a top 3 welterweight, one who also BEAT Shane Mosley. By the time Floyd fought Shane he would also be 38 years old... it is something that you have to account for. Not that Mosley isn't the truth... IMO He needs to fight both... but if it has to be one, then Pac.
I've also noticed that which makes it hard to find anything intelligent to talk about here. I will credit ANY fighter for their skills regardless of whether I like them personally or not.
I agree with you 100%
Ain't that how is suppose to be though? Don't we want a fighter to fight the best every single time? True boxing fans wants the best fighting the best every single time. As long as they are fighting they should be fighting the best.
no because fighters are human and they get old
yall want him to fight everybody, that's not possible
mayweather is already past his prime (physically)
Pacquaio as of now. It all depends on what happens in the future. At the beginning of this year, it would have been Mosley instead of Pac. That's why Floyd waits it out to see what happens in my opinion, the goalposts can shift very quickly.
yea right
then he will need to fight...

He gets credit for neither. All I hear is that nobody at WW has a chance to beat Floyd. So if nobody has a chance why is he at WW? As long as he is at WW and fighting against people who don't have a chance he is cherry picking and gets no credit for that. He needs to move up in weight or retire.
trust..those statements will surface. and its not just Floyd. If your name is not Manny you don't really get much credit on this forum anyways. I mean, Ward put on a great performance and they are trying to overshadow it by saying that he head butted on purpose...so, I personally would not be surprised on bit.
I give credit for credit is due, nO MATTER THE FIGHTER.

Which victory would you give Mayweather more credit for: a victory over Mosley, or over Pacquiao?
If you include objective peoople from the boxing world, Pacquiao. If you include the the teens and other ridiculously biased people on this site, he won't get credit for either one.
Bottom line is, he needs to fight them both
yea right

you guys want him to fight everybody
realistically it's not possible
there will always be someone everybody feels can beat him
do those people matter? honestly, does anything we think or say matter? do you think thats air you're breathing?
don't think you are...
know you are...
The fans know he has to fight Shane, hes fought at welterweight for 6 years but still hasnt fought a top guy. Pacquiao is another small but great fighter.
Which victory would you give Mayweather more credit for: a victory over Mosley, or over Pacquiao?
Neither, because according to Floyd, Mosley and Pacquiao are steroid cheats and they have losses (so therefore are damaged goods, right?) and according to most Flomo's Pacquiao is overrated / over-hyped.
So why the hell would I give Floyd credit for beating overrated steroid users?
