if froch stands toe to toe w/ kessler, I think he gets KOed because he's way too slow.
but if froch takes ward's blueprint and fights dirty to throw kessler off his game, I think froch has a chance to beat kessler.

Froch's skills are grossly underrated on here.
He has underrated speed, timing, footwork and defense.
I think he k.o's Kessler if he fights his usual way.
Body slamming, rabbit punches, etc...
Froch is a way dirtier fighter than Ward.
Froch is completely incapable of in any way possible fighting like Ward did. He will stumble forward like a moron and hope to land big punches like he always does.
Nah, if Froch tries to use his skills, that conssts of fairly good use of distance, a resaonable jab and slightly awkward stance, which Kessler will be able to handle, Froch needs to get in, stay close to kessler and, i'm sorry to say it but fight dirty, rough him up a bit, because quite frankly the viking warrior was getting beat up by ward who is not as rough and strong as Froch.
yeah, but ward beat him worse
i'm not talking about those skillsets, I'm talking about the dirty tactics... froch proved to be good at it against dirrell.
froch was pretty good at rough-housing against dirrell. he may not be as good as ward at it, but he can try and outmuscle kessler
ok i see but i still give him little chance to succeed kessler can knock him out his chin is decent at best. he will get with 1- 2 trying to come in or so i believe
When Calzaghe beat him he had never been beat...and forgive me if i am wrong but didnt calzaghe UD kessler ??? and without headbuts !:boxing:
yeah, but ward beat him worse
that meth got you hallucinating pullcounter j/k froch he don't have the speed , the footwork, inside fighting, the jab or spoil tatics to disrupt kessler rhythm to follow the blueprint ward set

Well, Froch IMO doesn't know how to clinch, so that eliminates the potshotting and hugging.
Headbutting? I thought Ward's butts were unintentional, or at least most of them were. Froch won't get away with butting because he won't be fighting on the inside like Ward. So if he does butt him, it'll be blatantly obvious.
No on both accounts. Ward pulled some really veteran, old school tricks last night. Froch doesn't know how to pull them off IMO.

Froch is going to come in and try and pressure Kessler throwing big punches all night. That's what he does in every fight. I don't think he can take anything from the Ward fight apart from that Kessler fights worse going backwards.

froch doesn't have speed or a great jab, true that, but if froch fouls kessler I think it could throw kessler off his rhythym allowing froch to set up his offense.
ward shut out kessler easy, kessler was calz's toughest fight at 168 lbs... what are you on about?

Na he'll do it his way and prob lose in a close one!
The blueprint was speed and a stinging jab. Froch has neither.

What are you on about ??? It was Calzaghe and not Ward that laid the blue print on how to beat Kessler with that hold then hit strategy.....Calzaghe beat Kessler first using those same tatics...didnt you hear Tarver say/point that out when he was commentating ??

Froch doesn't have the footwork, handspeed, versatility, defense, inside game, ring intelligence and savvy to do it.
i'm not talking about those skillsets, i'm talking about the hold-n-hit and headbutting.
Froch showed us in the Dirrell fight that he could foul and rough-house w/ the best of them imho.
Froch has a good chance to get himself disqualified if he tries to fight like Ward b/c of his kind of movement it will look like intentional for sure...

Absolutely not, at least doing it in the same manner as Ward and Calzaghe.
