I know last week Taylor announced on his Twitter page that he is still a part of the “Super Six“ tournament and he still is going to fight on. But after the impressive win by Ward and solid showings from Abraham, Dirrell and Froch, I just don’t to see where Taylor has chance to rebound to win the tournament. Taylor either risks getting himself seriously hurt (more so against Abraham) or he's living in a fantasy world. I can't think of one reasonable scenario against any of the boxers in the tournament where Taylor will be successful.

Hes probably just in for the money he should let his spot get taken so american can have a better chance of winning and he could live more healthier.
JT imo does not have the discipline to succeed at this level, any fighter who has problems with stamina and then balloons up in weight between fights is asking for trouble. he does still have some things going for him; good handspeed, great athleticism, a fine jab and the experience that comes with sharing the ring with b-hop, wright, pavlik, froch etc. but he needs the desire and the discipline as well.
imo he will face ward it simply too good a chance to miss, i think the fight will be on his home turf, with a title on the line and against a talented but still relatively green fighter. i think the following scenarios are likely:
1) if he loses this fight against via ward KO/TKO he will retire, his family, promoter and trainer will make that decision for him
2) if he loses by wide UD then i see him dropping out of the tourney regardless of how good/bad kess looks vs froch. i think he may drop out of the tourney but may continue fighting
3) if he loses by SD/close UD he may carry on fighting in the tourney, especially if he fancies the job vs kessler
**that'd be a real shocker IMO.
no way though, Ward is on a roll right now. all Andre has to do is keep a solid workrate through the first half of the fight
and JT will be gassed by round 7 or 8
