The logic of some people makes no sense at times, even if you try to make it logical. Kessler looked flabby and slow last night, I have never seen him that bad for some reason. Ward looked great but Kessler made it all that much easier by not engaging or doing anything at all. I always thought Kessler was Calzaghe's best win, and it was a clean good win with no excuses. Now it seems Kessler is overrated and that is a big blow to Calzaghe's record.

Yeah, sure. You're only as good as the opposition you've faced and it seems Kessler is not as good as we thought he might've been. However it's all situational so it's not the end of the world or anything.

And, as noted earlier, if this is the start of a great, HOF run for Ward, why would it in the long run? What if at the end of this Ward is the only guy who beats Kessler? That's why Super Six rocks...this is just the start of the whole thing. i'm sure you wish that was true so you don't look so foolish for saying calzaghe is an all time great. too late it's on paper! hahahahaha laugh you off the internet.

In the real world not everything is yes & no, black or white. As such, you'll notice the bottom two poll options are almost even. The reason? Because some people think Kessler's loss only hurts Calzaghe's resume a little. Hence the poll option. So, instead of disparaging others when you fail, admit you failed. People will forgive you and move on.

no i think kesslers loss to ward makes calzaghe's legacy even better! his legacy is that he's an overhyped bum who fought nobodies and old men right? Exactly hehehehe he's not a bum but he's certainly very overrated. He was a continental level fighter that BARELY got lucky vs the great Roy and Hopkins when they were 40 year olds. He's more on Kessler's level than Ward is. I think Ward is better than anyone else cept perhaps Abraham which i didn't quite decipher yet. That will be a good fight.

You Win!!! I think one thing that was proven, and it's just IMO.. If you can disrupt Kessler's rhthym, he becomes extremely mechanical and fairly awkward/cumbersome. He may actually matchup well stylistically with the other top dog in the tourney Arthur Abraham, because Abraham provides a relatively stationary target. He doesn't really utilize agility or major movement. This is what's exciting about the tourney!

Calz is good, but it doesn't mean much that he beat two old greats. As far as I'm concerned, Calz is in the same boat as Marciano, good fighters but way overrated.
