i dunno, you have to be experienced against calz, he's a man that never takes his eye off the ball and never loses focus(and if he does a flash knockdown will wake him up) and then your back to square one
i dunno, he's got a great mind, he does'nt need his trainer, the man can see what he's doing right and wrong already
This further proves how extremley overrated Joe Calzaghe was and how terrible his resume was. Joe's best win was against Kessler and now it turns out Kessler is an average fighter at best. Andre Ward beat up Kessler way worse than Calslappy did.
slapzaghes resume:
mikkell kessler(average fighter)
rjj(40 years old and shot)
hopkins(43 years old and past prime)
eubank(past prime)
lacy(hyped up bum)
I also think Andre Ward would beat Joe Calzaghe, he has more power and is more skilled.
you think he would? wow i am shocked.
by the way you claim to be European but what nationality are you?
i had this feeling while i was at the fight lol
yeah, it is always the same on this place.
kessler will lose so many fans right now. ward will gain so many no doubt.
So that means Hopkins isn't world class anymore? Which would mean Pavlik isn't world class because after Calzaghe beat Hopkins, he beat Pavlik and Pavlik beat Taylor so all those guys aren't world class.
Damn man, you one smart cookie to work that shit out. All those guys that everyone thought were world class aren't! Shit, you one smart muthafukka!
just because calzaghe 'beat' hopkins doesnt mean he can beat everyone hopkins beat. triangle theory doesnt work in boxing for instance cotto beat mosley, margarito beat cotto, and mosley beat margarito.
Possibly, and so would many other fighters, Calzaghe was a good fighter but he was NEVER world class. Continental class no doubt but not world class.God your a member since 2007 and your red ...and with posts like that...i wonder why lol

i'm gonna start it first
Oh ****! I knew it. Here it comes, the usual NSB shite.
Why?!
WHY?!?!?!?!
Why are people so stupid? That was obviously the same Kessler that fought Calzaghe wasn't it? :nonono:
You ain't that stupid Pullcounter. Don't act it.
If it was up to some people Calzaghe would never retire because everytime he fights, he wins and there's always haters saying "well he should fight =insert young super middleweight/light heavyweight prospect here=". It has to end somewhere for him if he came back and beat Ward he'd retire and then be accused of ducking someone else. It's an endless cycle. Ward and Calzaghe are two boxers now from different eras, when Ward hits his prime Calzaghe will have been long retired.
Calzaghe had some trouble until he jumped on Kessler. Even Calzaghe talked about it in an interview with how he beat Kessler...wonder if Ward saw it.
Kessler is too traditional for styles like Calzaghe and Ward.
Calzaghe would give problems to Ward but it would be a good fight. Calzaghe wouldn't fold either and knows how to step it up.
True but consider Calzaghe's chin, how would it hold up? We will never know (unless Calzaghe comes back) is the only answer to this question but will keep many haters talking for a good day or two.
A bum would have beaten Kessler tonight, he didn't turn up. Ward has had harder fights against the bums he fought.
He applied heavy pressure early and didn't let Kessler get off. Enough rounds of that, and Kessler started to get confused and then folded.
