I Respect Floyd Mayweather Jr

i dont think people realize what boxing is going to miss when floyd retires for good. could be the last true talent to step into the ring ever again. watch and learn all u can, coz u dont see that kind of skill every now and then

I lost just about all my remainin respect for him when he fought JMM at WW. but he can redeem himself now in the ring wit Pac and/or SSM.

actually i have...i once trained with Jesus 'lil poison' Pimentel...look him up...i never aspired to be an amateur or pro...jus wanted to stay in shape thru boxing...this was about 4 years ago and yes, im quite aware about 'winning' fights is what its all about...but the only thing that disgusts me more than wasting talent away by not challenging yourself, is wasting your talent while claiming your own greatness i'm a fight fan...have been for over 20 years...i've spent a nice fortune following this sport and if i want to vent my frustrations or poke fun, i will Cool, glad to hear it. I'll definitely look him up. But come on, Floyd has tested his skills so many times against top opponents, I don't know what more people want? Obviously, there are 2 or 3 challenges he has to face in the future...... Mosley being one, Pacquiao being two and perhaps the third being Williams or Berto depending on how things pan out. But let's be real..... who would you put as favourite to win any of those fights at welter? Anyway, you are entitled to take the p*ss or whatever as much as you want. But Floyd, to me, is the best exponent of the art of boxing, so when people sh*t on him it's like they are sh*tting on the sport of boxing.

I like him. Regardless of all the bullshit that comes out of his mouth the sport is a better place with him around which is all that really matters.

I agree 100%, his antics outside the ring may sometimes be in poor taste, but I cannot disrespect the man as an athlete.

I don't know how you can have an arguement about how good Floyd is...........He is clearly the most complete fighter in the world today. Perhaps he hasn't fought the fighters YOU wanted him to?
