I think Sugar Ray Robinson is the only boxer to start at LW and win a MW belt. There is a huge risk in this fight. There is money and it would be crazy if Mosley won that fight. Of course I favor Pavlik. But anything is possible in boxing. It's even a better risk than fighting Williams, imo. Hop shocked the world by beating Tarver moving up. Getting schooled by Hopkins is one thing, getting KOd by Mayorga is a lot worse. Pavlik would destroy Shane, KO him again. Just b/c Pavlik has been a bit of a bitch recently doesn't mean he's not a Middleweight world champion quality fighter.

Those fighters are much better than Pavlik in the technical aspect though.....I don't see why SSM couldn't do the exact same thing against Pavlik that he did to Marg......use his speed to land 1st and tie up once Pavlik starts to punch, let the ref do his job and repeat.
