Actually by that time 147 was a much safer weight for Fatton to make...this guy kept ballooning up to 180 in between fights, that actually when he went against Pac he was a skeleton on the scales. Its no rocket science that balooning and draining back to back is unhealty, and Roach knew it all. Thats why he choose to fight Hatton in a weight he was the champ at (140) he knew his best days were gone, he knew he was already been KOed by Floyd when undefeated, he knew he looked like shit against retired Lazcano, he knew the Malignaggi fight was a fluke and he only won because Paulie didnt have the power to stop him in his tracks, he knew he still was a sucker for the left hook, and that his bad habits had cought with him.
