Should They Just Make A New Division For Pacquiao?

We need more divisions and more belts to go around. 140-147 is to big of a leap and 15 belts is not enough. Each pound should be a division and there should be enough belts to go around for everybody so everybody can feel like a Champion. I agree, boxing should be more like youth soccer. Then they can go out for ice cream after too.

huge pac fan but this stuff is irritating. pac is not bigger than boxing. since he proved he can take shots from a welter, his next fight has to be at 147.

145 should be called the legendary divisions or ATG division :)

As much as I respect Pacquiao and I do consider him the p4p #1, he should just let his opponent come in at 147lbs if that's the division he wants to fight in, if not go back down to 140. Then again it's a business and people will take whatever advantage they can get however small, not to mention I think Pac's max weight is 148 and he doesn't want to come in against mw opponents. absolutely..mosley and hoya and pretty much everyone else who ever fought in that division didnt pull anything like this...manny has fought 3 guys who so far who fought at 147...he's yet to do so himself.

The WW division could be 146-147 and roach would still want a 146.5 catchweight.

Well they wont fight Marquez at 140lbs and defend him 140 lineal title but only at 145... And They wont fight Floyd at 147lbs and defend his 147lb WBO title but only at lower weight... And He already has a belt belt for a new division "WBC Diamond Belt".... They might as well make a new division for Pac? Yes, the division should be: Whatever weight Roach thinks gives his fighter the biggest advantage. Its a long title, but it will catch on.
