If you had Oscar De La Hoya type money $600 MILLION+, would you be a boxing promoter?

Not really, high risk, low reward, plus I don't know the ins and outs of boxing promotion, I'd have to intern or be under someone who knows the game like Top Rank or Golden Boy Promotions. I'd retire to Hawai'i and live off the interest earned through your basic account.

what better ways to spend my money than invest it to the sport i love... then i would probably try my best to make the Ring belt the only recognized belt or if not at least make it known to all fans(especially the casual fans) its significance

say what you want about Oscar but he loves the sport of boxing. He even said that he can't stay away from it and it shows. He fought about 4 years too long and now he sees himself changing the sport through his promotion company. I think DLH can do a lot of good or bad depending on the road he takes when it comes to boxing.

I would, I would want to stay involved. I would also try to buy out all of the sanctions (WBC, WBO, WBU, IBF, IBO) and merge them into one. :boxing:

what better place to invest than in the sport you love?? Good point...however, investing in sports can be quite risky...I don't want that much risk considering today's economy...
