I'm going to the Hatton fight if its in Manchester MARRRQUUEEZZZZZZ What if the fight's in Slough?

It's okay to talk about the Hatton fight, bro ; that's Marquez's next fight, or at least it appears to be. We're giving our thoughts on it, and supporting Marquez. It has nothing to do with Floyd. You were talking about how he may not be the same mentally, since Floyd beat him. What the hell about Hatton? You think he's the same, mentally? After getting the piss knocked out of him by both Floyd and Manny and crying for months after each fight? He's coming into this thing knowing he just got treated like a prison bitch for 5 minutes by Pacquiao and coming off a KO loss. Marquez is coming into this fight knowing he went the distance with a guy who starched Ricky. A guy that was naturally bigger, stronger, faster, and younger than him. No matter how many rounds he lost ; I'd say Marquez has more to be confident about going into this fight. Agree, or disagree? well I think you 1st need to go back and read my very 1st post in this thread because that will answer your question. I was talking about both guys and I was even harder on Hatton. Infact, my 1st post is even better than I remembered. It makes you sound bad for ripping me because Im clearly saying that JMM "may" not be the same and I would do it "just incase"

I don't have you wrong, son ; you and I get along just fine. But you're trying to turn this support thread into a discussion about Floyd having "ruined" Marquez. You never outright said that, but you're dropping simple hints about their fight, the "beating" Marquez took, how it'll effect him mentally, and all this other stuff. This is a Marquez support thread, son. I don't want that crap in here. Show support, don't talk badly about the man. from the very jump this thread also went into the Hatton fight and I wasnt the 1st or only one to speak on it. You yourself even spoke on it and you yourself even agreed with me about the tuneup. I wasnt dropping hints at anything. I said it full force and clear. I didnt mean it as a diss or that Floyd is GOD and JMM is a bum. People are always too senstitive about stuff like that. I just talk real talk and its not about trash talk. I put it in black & white terms. I would have a tuneup because JMM "may" not be the same after the Floyd loss and it would also help him get his confidence back. I think thats what I was clearly trying to say from the jump and nothing else. and the key word is "may". He may also be totally fine. I didnt put that in there to save myself. I put that in there because thats how I 100% genuinely feel. I honestly have no clue what to expect from either guy in this fight. My point is if this fight happened before the Floyd fight then I too would say that JMM owns him easily but after the Floyd loss, IDK if he will be that same JMM. Its not like Im saying because he took such a brutal beating. When the other guy said that he didnt take a brutal beating, I said true dat but we also cant act like it wasnt nothing. It may be nothing or it may be significant. Youre right in that this is an appreciation thread but dont single me out when everyone else was talking about the Hatton fight and even you seemed alright with what I was saying at 1st and agreed with me. Still, even after that, all you had to do was say what you said the last time about this being an JMM appreciation thread and there is no need to talk about that but you said all that other stuff 1st about me trying purposley to turn it into a Floyd thread when that was truly not on my mind at all. Thats why Im responding like that. Its upsetting when someone takes something you say completely the wrong way. Im not one of these Floyd guys that said Floyd did everything. I said it "could" be that way and thats why I would have a tuneup to make sure. JMM could easily be fine and kill Hatton but maybe he's not. How did I turn it into a Floyd thread. My point was about JMM, not Floyd. Still though, I think people always assume that you have to bust a guy up to damage him as a fighter. You dont. Sometimes a loss itself can ruin a guy, espically when its the 1st clear one of there career and sometimes those so called pillow punches have much more effect on guys than people think. He still snapped JMM's head back alot and dropped him once. His accuracy percentage was off the charts. It may have done nothing to him but it may have. That was my whole point and thats why I would have a tuneup. On the flip side JMM may not be mentaly damaged and may feel that he's still undefeated because he's convinced himself that Floyd was just a bigger man who cheated by being even bigger than that. Still again, my whole point is to have the tuneup to make sure and to also just get that one win to make you feel super confident again. Seems like these days all anybody wants to do in here is talk about "Floyd this", "Manny that", "Freddie Roach this", "Senior that". It's almost like nobody in here gives a shit about any fighter that isn't named "Pacquiao" or "Mayweather" at the moment. Fuck that. Seems like ever since Floyd picked off the Lightweight Champion of the World, people haven't really talked about him that much, where prior to that fight ; we had plenty of Marquez love in this bitch. Show your support for the Mexican legend ; I can't wait to see this dude back in action once again. Marcos Licona was almost 20lbs heavier(Im not kidding) and JMM blasted him like a Flyweight round after round until the stoppage... Manuel Medina this Immortal was around for decades. Juan's 3 punch combo againts Medina IMO is one of the greatest combination thrown. He's like Lex Luthor. He can make Superman look bad.

Be it against Ricky Hatton or a cab driver from Tijuana. Quoted for truth. I'm such a fan that I'd buy a $50 PPV with Marquez vs. anybody. For real. I just really admire his skillset and attitude about it all. He's about as skilled as any fighter I've ever seen, but he doesn't feel the need to flaunt it, at all. When he fights, sometimes I swear I'm watching Ricardo Lopez all over again. It's a trip to see how similar those guys are in terms of style. Marquez just needs to get drunk in sparring to understand how to handle the blancmange. He can work him out easy. If you get a hard-on in the gym, the fight is easy. Ricky's likely to gas as the fight wears on. All that weight gain/weight loss, coupled with his style and how easily hittable he is. It could be brutal.

Marquez just needs to get drunk in sparring to understand how to handle the blancmange. He can work him out easy. JMM is a hell of a fighter though he is always a joy to watch in the ring, it will be very good to see him back.
