He let all these top guys eliminate each other.
Now he will fight Pacquiao, and if he wins it will be like he also just beat Cotto without even beating Cotto.
Not the most courageous move, but smart none the less.

Smart? He looks foolish claiming he is the best ever while everyone else fought each other. Even if Mayweather decisions Pac in a borefest he still has a lot to prove.
Who are you kidding , he beats Pac he will be remembered for a hell of a long time ,,, not like say Calzaghe who wont be remembered in as soon as 10-20 years
counting chickens before they hatch
well hel get credit but not full respect for still ducking fighters in the past.. hes gonna fight pac cuz he has too.. too much money at stake.. boxers are more respected for thier legacies then thier pay days

what a clever way of saying he ducked threats and picked on lesser opponents.
floyd and his dumb fans think alike, theyre almost extensions of his vagina
Then he fights Pacquiao.
and if he wins plenty of people will remember him
doubt it.
just because you beat a guy doesn't make you automatically the better fighter with the better resume.
not how it works.
I hate Floyd as a person as much as anybody, but to deny his talent in the ring is beyond ridiculous... I will be rooting (hoping) for Pac to KO PBF but IMHO Floyd is just going to potshot and counter Pac all night long if they should fight. Floyd will win (steal) 7-9 rounds and NSB we be filled with threads about Floyd "running" from Pac because Floyd will never engage Pac and the fight will probably be boring, similar to Whitaker/JCC, IMO.
How is that smart...............he will be barely remembered when it comes to boxing.
One of the stupidest quotes I can remember. Mayweather is already on ESPN's top 50 all time greats. Mayweather will be remembered as a 6 time world champion (assuming he does not win another) and he will be regarded as one of the best pure boxers of all time.
mayweather is a genius!
let everyone fight each other in exciting , great fights so that people don't remember floyd's boring ass ones.
Then he fights Pacquiao.

Actually he's left himself in a potentially pretty crap position. Manny can do what he likes. He can retire and not fight again if he wants. He's the man of the moment and he'll be loved whatever he does next.
If he chooses Mosley over Floyd, who's Floyd left with? There's no way he wants to fight Paul Williams.
Heck, if I was Manny and subjected to all that steroid shit by the Mayweathers, i'd say forget Floyd and leave him stuck in the hole he's dug himself.
wow, you must be a psychic because it seems like you know for sure why he didn't fight those guys.
but seriously though, you really think cotto or margarito would have any chance against mayweather? and now that he might face pac who raped the guy that mayweather was apparently scared of, he still won't get credit for beating pac because he didn't fight cotto or marg?
the point is, pbf is just way better than all those guys, so if you want to blame him for not fighting them for his own legacy or your entertainment purposes I could understand, but it just doesn't make sense to say that pbf is scared of anyone at 147.
I can't state my opinion?
I'm sorry I thought that is what we did on this forum.
won't happen again

PBF will always be remembered as a guy who ducked the toughest competiton even if he were to beat Pacquiao.

Yeah this was all apart of the evil Mayweathers plan, if he beats someone who beats everybody that means he beat all they beat too.....you have shitty logic TC.

That's why Mayweather doesn't get respect.
He's a b!tch.
