I expect to be flamed, but screw it, it needs to be said just to be said. I'm targeting any pro athlete who may do this.
When it comes to performance enhancement, illegal products shouldn't be the only things looked at anymore. I know Floyd Sr. is wrong to accuse Pacman of steroid use, but he should've at least did his homework before putting THAT label on Manny. Alex Ariza pretty much through it in Sr.'s face on what he was doing. You can take all kinds of store shelf supplements to satisfactorily mimick the effects of everything from Viagra to the big S without any illegality.
The question should really be, do you look for certain products to blacklist, or do you rule out any outside form (anything that isn't diet and exercise) of performance enhancement period?
I mean for real, what do you guys think? If you're taking something that's perfectly legal, but it's giving you the ability to train harder and longer and is comparable to a banned substance.. isn't that still technically performance enhancement?
What am I getting at?
HGH releasers. They initiate growth hormone effects via boosts in chemicals your body naturally produces and you can get such products from GNC, your local pharmacy probably, the internet, etc. Nothing illegal about it, can't be detected, but it shouldn't be mixed up in competitive sports where you want to be 100% certain the playing field is level.
Are you saying that everyone is a Manny Pacquiao by now because of em imagined substances that you assume a good man uses? Then why is there only one Manny Pacquiao? And how can he even make the sign of the cross and pray to the Almighty for a win, at the same time cheat? And unselfish as to the moral and financial help he brings to thousands if not millions of people?

It kind of does. You are more or less implying that the "supplements" Pacquiao gets from Ariza can have HGH releasing chemicals therefore improve his performance. But what makes Ariza's supplements any different from others?
My take. If small guys like Henry Armstrong could do it KOing bigger guys, why not Pacquiao?
Again, I have nothing against people submitting the supplements to the commission but you seem to be singling out Pacquiao which undermines your whole argument.
Later. I'm out.
My point: if Armstrong could do it with his boundless energy back in the day and KO guys bigger than him, why not Manny?
Please reply.

I want to know what supplements these fighters are taking. Ariza admitted he gives sups to Pacquiao, he's not the only one taking sups, I just want to know what they are, and they should be submitted to a comission for review.
I'm against outside performance enhancement if it's taking place by any fighter.
I think these natural sups are the new secret in sports.
I suppose we'll see another Manny Pacquiao in the next few years. Yes, we should see the supplements. I have no argument there.

I'm more looking at the rabid, relentless, unending energy. Pacman's a good fighter regardless.
Have you seen Armstrong vids? He never stopped as well.
Honestly, it's always one thing from another. If it's not his energy-it's his muscle growth; if it's his not his muscle growth its his ability to be explosive.
However, my argument is, why has Oscar consistently been saying over and over "Pacquiao doesn't punch hard" or David Diaz. Both of these guys say his punches don't hurt yet their faces look messed up. What do they mean?

No........
I don't know...that's some amazing supplement they're taking to get Manny to improve his defense and offense for the past 9 years. By the way, if Amir starts punching like a middleweight the next couple of fights---Ariza must be giving them some crap. That I would agree with.
All I'm saying is if Armstrong could TKO welterweights, why not Manny?
Most fighters are aware cause they have to watch what they take, cause certain things that are just normal over the counter drugs (Things for pain or say a cold) can result in a positive test.
They just submit what they were using in those cases. This doesn't account for undetectable things like natural HGH releasers.
We don't know that either. Who says all fighters are aware of these alternatives?

If he's taking legal supplments--the kind that ANY fighter can buy--why is it that he's the only one getting these kinds of results?
Again, who says all fighters are aware of these alternatives?
Well, we know he's taking supplements...the question then becomes, what's he taking? Ariza did say that's what they're using.

That's my point. We shouldn't accuse Pacquiao or any fighter for that matter unless we have proof. I mean, pacquiao found this amazing supplement that can boost his power that much? That's amazing. I'm surprised no other fighter use it readily and get the same kind of performance like Pacquiao.

Nothing, cause if its legal they can all do it, and they all do do it.

We don't know what supplements boxers are on.

All boxers generally take supplements, its funny that Pacquiao seems to be the target of these allegations by Mayweather Sr.
Was Armstrong using drugs when he was knocking guys out as a welterweight? Remember, this is the same Armstrong who went from SFW, Lightweight, and Welterweight champion all in under a year. Why can't an Asian do that? Is it because he's not black?
We don't know what supplements boxers are on and that's the point.
