What would be your perfect boxer? If you could take attributes from fighters, what would you take from the past and present boxers in order to create an unbeatable fighter? The punching power of Roberto Duran or the speed of Roy Jones Jr? Try and pick ten fighters to blend from although I have chosen 11, but pick their MAIN skills,
Mine would be as follows.
Footwork – Manny Pacquiao - he is just all the time non stop moving.
Stamina – Joe Calzaghe - can go forever it seems without slowing.
Accuracy – Floyd Mayweather Jr.-Has an unnerving ability to pick shots
Speed – Roy Jones Jr. - in his day an opponent couldn't blink.
Right hand - Mike Tyson - more like a truck hitting you.
Left hand – Jack Dempsey - more like a slegde hammer.
Chin – Rocky Marciano - he could punch but could taken one as well.
Charisma – Muhammad Ali - you could not help but love him.
Attitude – Sugar Ray Robinson - Just wanted to get in there and fight.
Brain – Sugar Ray Leonard - Smartest boxer in and out of the ring ever.
Finishing ability – Marvin Hagler - when he smelt blood he went after it.
All compiled with the fan base of Ricky Hatton to sell out the stadiums and with Oscar De La Hoya's looks and you have an all time legend of the ring.
Sugar Ray Robinson was pulling Mayweather's before Mayweather
Sugar Ray Robinson challenged heavyweight champion Joe Louis for the heavyweight championship belt but Louis's team didnt wanna make Joe look like a coward for picking on smaller fighters. All Mayweather does is pick "smart" fights.
fuggit .if im P4P and i worked by ass off to get there...u best believe i want you to CUT THE CHECK!!!
i see no problem with that....im sure Ray Robinson felt he was worth more than what they were paying him..so it was either Pay him or go in front of a packed crowd and explain to them THE GREAT SUGAR RAY WONT BE BOXING TONIGHT.......:bling:
You had me laughing there! IOU a green k since I'm out for today!
Prime Tyson was KO'ed by Buster Douglas....
but i get what ur saying
That was not the Tyson who became the youngest heavyweight champion ever and who has destroyed Spinks, Holmes ect. Something was wrong with him against Douglas, its easy to see.

Didn't SRS threaten NOT to fight at one time (or more, I'm no boxing historian) in his career until somebody up his pay?
It takes a heavyweight to reach Tysons power, but no heavyweight can ever be as fast as Pacquiao.
Well...the thread started asked what would be the perfect boxer....The perfect boxer will have all those attributes...Is it possible? Maybe not but still, that's my definition of a perfect boxer...
Pacquiao's speed, Tyson's power, Mayweather's defense
