-Yes, the Pac-Cotto fight is coming up very shortly and we are all very excited for a mega fight we all wanted to see. I know that before every big fight the fans start to get a bit crazy in here and negative towards the other fighter. I don't understand how anyone can hate fighters like Pacquiao and Cotto, two stars willing to give the fans a great fight they want to see. Both are gentlemen and they don't disrespect each other. I see many people saying "Pacquiao is a 106 pounder on roids, lol! Cotto ko rnd 3!" or "Cotto will get Hatton'd by a flyweight, ROFL!" lol. As you can tell by my sig I am picking Pacman but you don't see me disrespecting Cotto or his fans around here, I respect Cotto and always have for giving us great fights. -All I'm trying to say is, can we just relax with the Negativity and just be thankful we are getting this fight? I'm excited like hell for this saturday, I know what you're saying, D. It is kinda fun though, I take most of it with a pinch of salt, all except the blatantly moronic stuff. Well Dorian you said it yourself. "Cotto and Pacquiao are being gentlemen about it" well if those two robots aren't gonna promote their own fight then it's the fans jobs to hype the fight up. Guys like Mayweather, Mayorga, Hopkins, they don't need us because they do all that crap talking andfight-selling themselves. Pacquiao-Cotto need us. There is a difference between hype and disrespect. We are witnessing both but then again, most Cotto fights need the fans hype. I think that a fan who knows the sport should not resort to irrelevant things like Cotto's eyebrows or Pacquiao's weight from 13 years ago. All that brings senseless arguments, trolling, and internet fights that are won only in the mind of each poster. I think that, to make an analysis, all you need to consider are the strenghts and weaknesses of the fighter at the moment. You can go a few years back if the fighter had a tough fight that may have a lasting effect, but to keep bringing old stuff and beating dead horses is useless. It's internet nonsense. I bet all the disrespect going around would not be the same in person. You would never see someone trying to insult Cotto or Pacquiao face to face. I also wish things were more in control and that racial nonsense was left out of this. After the fight, you might even see those going after each other being all "forum mates" again. This might be the internet but sometimes you can realize the way a person might be by the behavior they show, even if this is just for fun.

i think it makes the board fun. if people annoy you just ignore them. it's like when 2 rival football/baseball/basketball teams play each other. talking crap is one of the best parts.
