He needs more opponents. If he could make 168 to enter the super 6, gr8. I don't think he can do that comfortably tho. Just not many names at LHW right now.
Average age of Dawson's last 4 opponents:
40 years.....
Also, they were not the best fighters in the division. Just HBO Hypejobs/Acceptables.
he already has better wins on his resume than both klits combined :lol1:
Future P4P top 3. Kid impressed me last week. He beats anyone at 168 or 175, with the exception of Hopkins IMO.
By losing to an old Glen Johnson and then beating a really old one? Fuuck that.

did you just count Tarver and Johnson twice? Not his fault the top fighters in his division are senior citizens
if you could get off white european fighters nuts for just a minute and open your eyes you might realize that you're overly biased views and ridiculous overuse of the word hypejob are not taken seriously by anyone in this forum
great post british fan:boxing:
If he beats Cloud and the winner of Pascal-Diaconu II, he's the TRUTH. Until then, he's still "very good", but not the word described in the topic title.
Dawson is a typical USA/HBO hypejob. Abraham or Kessler would starch him with their strong chins and powerful combinations.
Also, if he had the balls to move to Cruiserweight/Heavyweight, Adamek would gladly hand him a brutal beating.

They would pound Dawson and knock him out. If the ghost of Adamek could put Dawson on his ass then Kessler and Abraham would dust him inside 10 easy.

I believe Hopkins and Mayweathers are quite a bit more skilled than Dawson seeing as he tends to get tagged a bit, but he is progressing.
I think that's what people need to realize. Dawson is just entering, or will soon enter his prime.
Mayweather and Hopkins have already progressed as far as they will.

You are basically saying a guy that was at 160 for most of his career would knockout Dawson within 10 rounds.

Anyone can get put down by a lucky shot, however, Aamek was outclassed badly in that fight.

Abraham would lose the first 8 rounds then what he has to get a knock out the last 4 rounds? No way man. Dawson would beat Abraham assuming he could even make 168.
Dawson is the man, his skill level is almost unrivaled in the Sport currently.

Lets not say 200. I see guys like Cunningham beating him there, too big.
I don't know about that. I think Dawson will be a cruiserweight in the future. He would be too fast for Cunningham
