what are you talking about HBO made a smart bissnuess move by not putting froch-taylor on their card and insted putting an exciting match up between chad dawson and antiono tarver....2.......what a fight that was!!!!FOTY!!!!! and not only have they been giving us great matches like Klitkcho-areloa, but also bring great PPV'S by not caring about how to make an undercard and throw a great PPV like mayweather-marquez in which one was fat and one couldn't even KO a blown up LW!!!!! do that make me a mayweather hater....you bet your white ass it does!! even thought he's top 10 LW of all time imo im still a hater cause i won't lie and say he has the best WW resume of all time!!! and boy how about that de la hoya- pacquiao fight? great seeing oscar throwing his jab..oh wait....HE DIDIN'T!!!!!! :0 ANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNND i love how they bulid up young propsects like victor ortiz. what a warrior he is huh? and how about that kelly pavilk? he doulbes the freaking jab!!!! andre berto got a fuk up hairline....and somehow he gets a belt!! and why the hell are they're 2 old dinosaurs on the show??? thought they were extict? anyway.....HBO is a great program and your a hater etc etc least will see kelly pavlik fight williams right???? right????? u dont watch Dexter??? u are missing out big time on a great show. I love Dexter, it's an awesome show. I also used to love The Soprano's and The Wire when they were on. Other than that I only watch HBO and Showtime for boxing, MMA and the occasional movie in indemand.

The problem is HBO and it's monopoly over boxing. Fights are being televised too much on premium channels like HBO and Showtime. Fans will say "what's wrong with HBO and boxing? It goes hand in hand." Well boxing has been slipping in popularity the 18 years because of HBO's monopoly over boxing and it has reached it's breaking point. Too many sanctioning belts, too much politics involved, too many weight divisions is what's also ruining the sport. Professional boxing needs to be cleaned and it needs to be cleaned up bad, so the fans can be satisfied and the boxers are getting paid.

It's a shame, boxing is the only reason that I pay for HBO and Showtime... u dont watch Dexter??? u are missing out big time on a great show.

ahhh now i understand. Its no surprise really look at all the money they threw at roy jones jr back in the early 2000s he was being paid 10 million per year just to fight only on hbo plus all the other money he got from fights. Hbo is horrible at managing money for boxing they just throw it all away on nothing. espn last year also cut friday night fights to 6 months i think. This is horrible. At least showtime is picking up the slack

Showtime has fights on both friday & saturday & don't have to deal with goldenboy & there crooked ways!!

And the accompanying budget cuts. Well the 15million dollar budget for next year is taking place. Cuz Greenburg is overpaying for Al Haymon and Golden Boy fighters to be on his network. And, he is not getting the ratings in return.

It's a shame, boxing is the only reason that I pay for HBO and Showtime...

hbo was the best back in 2000-2004 since then they dont show as much fights and most fights are 1 sided. hbo showed only 3 cards since august the paulie fight, the vitali fight and the dawson fight. only the diaz paulie fight was entertaining. hbo has really started to suck even the intro's to the event are crap compared to back 4-5 years ago. Whats wrong with hbo i never thought i would prefer showtime over hbo Ross Greenburg took over that is what went wrong...
