I have been jabbing at Cotto since this fight was made, but I really like the guy as a fighter. Be that as it may, like I said Cotto isn't one to come into weigh ins looking like a Hopkins, Jones, mosley, or bradley. As of late he sems to carry a little baggage during weigh ins, and since he has lost two extra pounds, he seems to be in much better shape. Like his sparring partner said in 24/7, it has made him a bit quicker and stronger. It should be a great fight, and Cotto will probably be in the best shape of his life. May the best WW win.
I can't find people to bet with. So many are picking Cotto, but so few have accepted my bets.
I got no clue how I give you points or whatever, but I'll put all of mine on the line taking Cotto.
That and the better skillz.
nope... 10+ lbs and enough skills.
It isn't 10 pounds of fat yo gain, its waterweight and fluids. Better to have fluid and solid muscle, than fluid and flab.
exactly, that's like racing a thorough bred with a pony... cotto is too big.

usally that what suppose to happen when you lose weight the right way insted of draining yourself cuz you didn't work out for 4 months like most boxers do.
think he started training when the fight was announced back in june
you know damn well that by the 6th round, this fight becomes one, long, nasty PAC highlight reel...stop frontin

It's funny, if I could get into shape like Cotto is for this fight (or any of his fights before this), I'd try to move to South Beach and walk in front of hot chicks on the beach every day.
But then again somebody like Bradley looks like he's got 0% body fat (or whatever is humanly possible).
Dude speaks with a colonial South African accent, he must be good. Unless the thrifty Cotto purchased him from costco.
lol ... ya man i still have cotto taking this, but i go back and forth like many seem to. its cotto's defensive liabilities that have me scratching my head ... and pacs footspeed body/head movement
street, please bump this thread once the 'weight-drained' threads come out on the 15th
thanks
just wonder if he may be over doing it ... theres def not gonna be that excuse either way imo ... any way manny wins he deserves the credit theres only so many excuses people can have for why manny is winning....
ya bully u maybe right ... but at the same time anyone else think since the camp started so early and it appears that hes been really pushing himself for this one that he may overtrain ... how good/experienced is cotto's conditioning coach? roach mentioned something about cottos conditioning coach experience in 24/7 but i think he was more referring to his boxing credentials

Like I thought, Cotto losing 2 pounds of fat will make him stronger. | BoxingScene Community
