Pac will certainly land a healthy amount of power punches, but Cotto should be able to take them. Pac hit a weight drained Oscar with everything he had and couldn't even wobble him lol. Hatton KO doesn't equal big puncher at welter. Pac's first time out at the weight. Pac should be packing a bigger punch right now. Even his team is surprised at how much he has adjusted to the weight and is punching much harder than he did when he fought DLH. That coupled with speed becomes an x factor with his fight against Cotto. If Cotto can take Manny's power, Manny loses. If all the hype and talk coming out of Manny's camp is true, Cotto is in for a beat down.

I guarantee you that Pac and Roach worked on perfecting the uppercut after they studied Cotto's fight with Judah.

With an uppercut which Manny doesn't have. That is not true. Yall need to watch some more Pacquiao fights. Plus,the uppercut isn't the only punch Cotto have to worry about. He's fighting a quick southpaw whose gonna be throwing varieties of blistering punches from all angles. And he won't be there in front of you to get hit. I think Cotto will play this fight similar to his bout with Malignaggi. He will take 3 punches to land 1, and I have no reason to believe that Pac hits harder than any of the bigger punchers that he has faced. Cotto is going to bully him and work that body.

If he doesn't need it, it will be used sparingly. He used it against Oscar and Ricky too, I just can't find gifs... He didn't reall use it against Oscar and Ricky. Infact look at his track record of using uppercuts consistantly throughout a fight and its always been against subpar opposition like Diaz, Solis etc. His uppercut really isn't that good, and Cotto has only really been vunerable to the upercut when he being forced to move backward, which I don't see Pacquiao doing, it still doesn't mean Pac won't win but I don't think the uppercut is the key.
