He really is. Decided to watch clips, fights on YouTube and he's technically one of the best Heavyweights of all time and probably has the greatest jab i've ever seen from a boxer.
Yer, i slated him a lot in the past due to the feud with Haye(Big fan of his) and some of his fans on here got on my cunt but i'm man enough to admit when i wrong. Wladimir Klitschko is great, an ATG and should be getting more respect on here then what he has gotten so far. Since i've been on here anyway.
I won't comment on the ATG part since I haven't watched enough of the old school fights to form an opinion, but I certainly think he is the best HW since the '90s bunch. He's a beast, an adonis, and the TRUTH. :box2:
Some people say that Wladimir Klitschko cannot be labelled an all time great as he has experienced defeat.
How many Heavyweight World Champions have not experienced defeat?
Fight fans often have very convenient memories. If Wladimir fought some of the clowns that Holmes defended against it would be such an ugly mismatch they wouldn't even televise it.
That's true!
There's only maybe 5 HW's since 1980 that would have a decent chance against Wlad or Vitali right now. Holmes, Tyson, Holy, Bowe and Lewis. It's rare for the HW division to have more than a couple of great fighters during any era. Without the KlitschkO brothers I've no doubt that some of these so called "bums" that the brothers have been dominating would be considered good or even great fighters...
nothing gets worse then ibragimov/wlad.
ibragimov was laughed out of boxing!
Ali-Jimmy Young was worse. Watch it if you don't believe me. I've seen plenty of worse heavyweight fights.
Nothing like the amazing divisions of Larry Holmes, Mike Tyson, Jack Johnson and Rocky Marciano, for sure.

Bleak day for boxing if that ever happened. And even if it did, Louis defended his title in an era that was much more competitive, with one title.
Louis made the majority of his defenses against very mediocre opposition.
I don't have very much doubt that Wlad could defend his title 50 times if he was sanctioned to do it against Tony Galento types on a monthly basis.
ye il settle for top 20
i think their are a few guys in their prime that would take him out though, dont rate his heart that much
He doesn't have much confidence in his chin, i'll give ya that!

that girl in your AVY would get the business, that is all. Yes I am drunk.
Wlad's skill set is among the best ever. Wlad tends to get hated on for his "glass" chin, being "boring" etc but these same people were hating on Wlad when he was a purely offensive fighter that threw way to many punches going for the KO instead of pacing himself which left himself open defensively and to also run out of gas which was subsequently exploited (now corrected) in his 3 defeats that this version of Wlad would never have IMO.
Wlad also isn't given nearly enough credit for not only hiring a great trainer like Manny to correct his flaws (defense, pace) but also listening to him correcting his 2 main flaws which have made him close to being invincible. Wlad hasn't even lost a round in years against top ranked opponents. That's domination.
He will be given the credit he deserves when he is retired just like Lewis who was shit on while he was still an active fighter.....all Lewis has that Wlad doesn't is a big name on his resume, even if that big name was a complete shell of himself when Lewis beat him.
European fighters that dominate there divsion rarely get the praise they deserve when they're active and prime, only when they retire do people worldwide give them the full credit they deserve.
He's easily top 20 IMO. He could more then hold his own against any Heavyweight of any era.

meh......... this HW divisions is garbage
I've always said even though Vitali is tougher, Wlad is the better brother.
Accomplishments wise it's not close to me. Wlad has been a great champion and he's beaten everyone in the division for the last few years. The fact that some of his fights are boring is irrelevant.
Wlad is superior to his brother in terms of boxing skills IMO. He also has a great chance of breaking Joe Louis's 25 title defense record!
He'll be remembered as one of the greats. He has dominated this era like Lennox Lewis dominated his era.
