Had Floyd just beat Cotto before he retired, I would have gave him props. Cotto is damaged goods and for good reason. Margarito plastered his ass. I give Ray Leonard a pass for playing the waiting game against Hagler because the truth is, Ray Leonard should have never stepped in the ring again after his first war with Hearns. But Floyd is still a prime fighter who has yet to have a war. He wont face anyone that is a threat and this is why he retired when the iron was hot. He came back and he want's to reap the benefits after the welter weights destroyed each other. Had Floyd been the one to dismantel the Welter Weight division two years ago, he would be respected, loved and appreciated, he did not do it and now he is getting more hate than ever for being a coward while telling everyone he is the greatest. :chairshot Floyd does not deserve to fight Manny or Cotto or Shane. mosley is the only guy that can beat floyd. mosley got speed, power, durablity, toughness, strenght, etc... cotto gases, his defense is spotty pac is too small. only mosley can take floyd to the wire. And Shane Mosley doesn't he was taking a huge break against Mayorga and barely won the fight. Thanks to a shot Mayorga. Cotto could take Mayweather out, that's why Mayweather retired he didn't think he could beat all these W.W's. Mayweather is looking for fighter to get shot to pick him as his next opponent. He might be able to do it, but it be more shocking if he does. I wouldn't be shock if they knocked him out, because I haven't seen him fight a true Welter Weight yet. Plus Floyd is weak to the stomach, remember he got a "broken rib".

i can see floyd stopping cotto if cotto gases. cotto doesn't have jmm's style, skills or defense. I know Cotto doesn't have JMM's style, skills or defense. He has Cotto's style, skills and defense. I still don't see how you guys think Floyd would KO Cotto, that's absurd. What are you basing that Cotto gases on? On 2 fights ? One where he could barely see and the other where it's possible that he could have been getting hit with bricks? Ihave to disagree with you... Cotto would kick Mayweathers Azz so bad... Just watch the Henry Bruseles fight and see how easy Henry fought Mayweather for almost 9 rounds.... Henry could not fight Cotto during sparring sessions like that Cotto used to fk hm up early...and that was only a sparring session.... Cotto by KO if this fight happens LOL!! It's too early to say PAC would get KO'd since we don't know yet how he'll deal with an elite WW. Cotto definetly won't get KO'd and I'd beat on that. Matter fact he has a good chance at winning unless Floyd cruises to a decision.
