No Cotto does not hit harder than Mosely. But he does hit more often and from sharper angles. Pacquiao is more prone to cut you up than Mosely is thus putting his opponent at a major disadvantage. The ref could stop the fight or the blood could interfere with Cotto's vision thus leaving him even more vulnerable to Pac's speed and setting Cotto up for a KO.
