Hmm. Freddie Roach has trained a shitload of world champions. Not to mention he had the guts to step in the ring and get punched in the face. Pac has a much smaller frame than Cotto does. Even if he is at 153 lbs now, he usually only rehydrates 10 or so lbs on fight night. Cotto rehydrates well over that, something like 15 lbs so you are looking at Cotto at around 160 maybe a lb or two less and Pac at 155 lbs. Plus, Cotto has a bigger frame where the extra 5 lbs can make a big difference.

i'm really happy for both....they are getting a huge payday and we get a mega-fight. Agree. It's the promoter's job to try to make the fight as competitive as possible to make it a little bit more interesting because let's face it guys, Cotto really is too big for Pacquiao.

LOL, the weight in training is diffirent from fight night weight. Pac weigh in at 148 his last 2 fights. How much does Cotto weigh right now or a month ago? If Cotto weighs in right now at 150 or something, then he should be fighting at jr. middleweight or middleweight. buddy...pac's weight right now is above 150. roach said that in a recent interview

i dont like Roach, too. he has 2 much ego in his interviews. good trainer though don't get me wrong guys....roach is an excellent trainer and pac is one hell of a fighter. but all the drama a few weeks ago about the weight and now he said that he don't care about it. he even said that he want the fight at 143. that's a joke knowing that cotto was not going to be 100% at 143

Yea, I have to agree, its just team pacquiao trying to get the most advantage for their fighter that they can. It is after all a business, at least cotto was smart enough to stick by his original word that he would only go as low as 145. If cotto wins and manny desires a rematch then cotto can set the rules 147.... and if team pacquiao does not want that then cotto can move on and fight some one else... as long as manny is winning he pretty much controls the terms...

who's being the crybaby drama queen?? want to fight pac and make hella $$$ ? come in at 145... dont want to come in at 145??? go fight someone else for less... its that f*ckin simple... correct, but thats not what being a great fighter is all about. the reason why i dont credit pacs greatness, i do credit his teams dealing methods.
