I wanted to add a rumors section to my site and you made it easy for me to get it going. TY Funny thing is, these rumors will show up on twitter and the followers are going to bet thinking WTF? :rofl: What's odd is(though not impossible) Cotto has a coke problem but is also fat. Someone attempting to cut weight would generally be aided by cocaine use.

Sometimes this forum reads more like the National Inquirer than a boxing forum. To be fair, occasionally the information is relevant. This week from "The BoxingScene Enquirer:" - Floyd Mayweather Jr. is a homosexual, or at the very least bisexual. Off again on again boytoy Leonard Ellerbe fumes in pictures of Keisha Cole with Floyd Mayweather Jr.(no evidence of any kind has yet been presented) - Miguel Cotto has a coke addiction. Smashing 8-balls from Puerto Rico to New York City.(Proof?: an NSB poster's friend's Uncle saw him using Coke) - Speculation increases that Manny Pacquiao is abusing steroids. This story really started with Floyd Mayweather Sr. but weeks after Sr and the media's accusations died down, NSB still manages to pursue the story.(no pictures, receipts, documents or eye witness accounts have actually been confirmed) - Pacquiao/Cotto 24/7 episode 1 was a failure and detriment to the fight.(Proof?: A threadstarter quoted a few posters around the internet who shared similar opinions) - Miguel Cotto is fat..(Proof: ??none??.. Curiously contradicting to the coke addiction story) TBH I kind of like that Boxingscene actively comes up with insider info, it's entertaining to read and typically laughable. It's sort of cool that we occasionally have info that espn, other news outlets or forums don't have. However I figured I'd post a summary of recent updates as there has been a sp*ke in absolute nonsense. I apologize to anyone inadvertently quoted in this thread, no disrespect. Any other new stories I might have missed? There is an old adage. The only thing that can end a politicians career is if the media or cops find a dead woman or a live boy. Seems to hold true for many professions. A rape conviction does the trick as well.

I have to believe it. I remember when that story broke thinking.. How is DLH ever going to live this down. Although I also thought Marv Albert's career was over after he was in court for biting a woman and being involved in wierd sexcapades. Time(and witchcraft) heals everything. There is an old adage. No it won't. Sugar Ray Leonard did coke for a long time, he's an ATG. Cotto's supposed casual drug use won't be an excuse. If I'm not mistaken Pernell Whitaker was known as "SnowPea" in certain circles in the know on his personal life.

I'm a Cotto fan, and I believe it. But I also think that some people don't understand that certain people just use drugs casually. I think some assume that if he's doing coke, he's doing massive Tony Montana mounds with an uzi at his side. I think this will be the excuse if Cotto loses this fight.

If I had to be perfectly honest I'd say Cotto definitely has an occasional habit of coke use. Mostly b/c of the frequent heresay.. It's just humorous reading the "proof" behind it. If I had to guess I'd say his coke use sp*ked around the time after the Margarito fight and again after he found out Margarito may have cheated. I do however think it's simply casual and under control. I wonder if Dan Rafael ever heard anything about Coke use.. Someone really needs to get that rumor started on one of his ESPN chats. Even though some of the stuff on here is complete garbage, we DO often get news before other major news outlets do becuase of the large spectrum of posters on here. When ESPN hears "Cotto does Coke", they have no clue and probably think he's replacing the polar bears in the holiday commercials.
