pacman/cotto weight

There's no minimum weight for any division. You can fight @ 170 for heavyweight fight or 135 for a WW fight if you wanted to. Lol that's not gonna work. You have to stay within the minimum weight on that particular division. Heavyweight, it's 201 and 141 for the welters. Any lower than that, no state sanctioning bodies will sanction the fight.

yeah but what i meant is 141-147 is recognised as WW just as for instance 148-154 is recognised as light middleweight. Yes, that is 100% correct. Anything from 141-147 is a WW fight. This fight will be at 145 with the belts on the line and Cotto has to pay 1mil for every pound that he is over. However, Roach said that he wont fight Cotto at all of he weighs in over 147 pounds

the fight is at145. but since its for the welterweight title, the max weight allowed should be 147. but pac side insisted on a catch weight. if you fight for a belt that max weight is 147 you should be allowed to enter at that weight. but since pac is so special they have catch weight cause roach eats balls

145 is still WW. Belt is on the line.

Unbelievable is correct. The confusion arose when Roach stated "Cotto can come in 147 but it'll cost him $2M"

It's 145. The belt's still on the line since it's still within the welterweight limit.
