OK, so we start off the night with a customary battering of a former US champion by brutal KO and we move onto the main course....
You really expect, actually expect, for a yank to come over to the champions yard in Nottingham Arena and rob Froch of his title?
What I just watched wasn't a fight - it was a marathon with Dirrell almost breaking the world record.
Dear me, what a DISGRACE and the Americans are crying robbery?
LMFAO. All the score cards I have seen are very close either way.
All I saw for the majority of the rounds was Dirrell firing superficial shots towards Froch and then holding. All the while, Froch was battering him on the inside.
And the complaints about the point deduction? LMFAO. Dirrell went down about 5 times within 3 rounds of his own accord and expected not to start irritating everyone? What a joke.
Next time I hope he engages - and gets the brutal KO that is coming to him.
Froch will knock Kessler out - without a doubt. Kessler is good but he really does not like getting hit. I can see Froch landing a bomb and then brutally finishing him off.
If Dirrell had stopped running like a girl and fought the way he did in 10, 11 and 12 then he would have won without a doubt. As it stands? Crying a robbery is just a no no.
Dirrell having a point taken away was long overdue by the end of the 8th round. I'm surprised the referee took as long as he did to deduct Dirrell that point. I mean he specifically/directly warned him at least 4 about holding, as well as giving him a little talking to between rounds.
If Dirrell wants to duck right down and hold - all the while is just going about his buisiness and getting his shots off then joke is on him. You can't just not expect to get hit when you duck down and expose the back and side of your head - otherwise every fighter would just turn their back as a defense....
Good points. imho. a more assertive, better Ref woulda not allowed Dirrell to get away. Richard Steele or a Cortez looking Dirrell in the eye might kept things straight
The only joke here is that you feel validated by wasting your time composing
this post. I thought AA would win by ko, he did. I thought Dirrell would win by decision, he shouldn't have. Was that fight mma or boxing? Froch hits behind the head and body slams...lol. The only brutal KO coming is when Froch KO's Kessler within 6 rds.
lol, impressive and expected....probably because you know I'm right.:haha:

Points should have been deducted from Froch for the Body Slam and the excessive blows to the back of the head.multiple. and he wasn't even warned until the 6th or 7th....
All the shit that Dirrell said he was going to do, he said he was going to knock out Froch. I hate fighters who talk all that shit and then run all night and then claim they were robbed. Dirrell is the better runner but running in a match all night does not win a fight on my score cards. Dirrell knows that if he does not run all night he get's knocked out.running? i think you mean hitting without getting hit...aka boxing. pathetic decision and i would love to see punch stats.
Wait... so who was doing the holding....?
If Dirrell wants to come inside and hold. So be it.
But Froch is going to score points when he busts him up on the inside.
If by "busts him up" you mean "hit him repeatedly in the back of the head, and a few times on the break" Then I agree.

Clearly said Dirrell was holding too much. Froch also held behind the head (another form of holding) too much, Dirrell did turn his head, but Froch still isn't allowed to hit..fouls for both. Dirrell did go to the ground, believe everytime he did Forch was holding him illegally for whatever reason..didn't really see these kneel downs as a big deal. One was clearly a slip in a wet corner..in fact Dirrell slipped several times on the logos in the ring, which you can't balme on anyone but the prmoters and sponsers.
Regardless of how you feel about Dirrell's fouls, How did you score many rounds for Froch? What was effective about fouling on the inside and missing wildly with most of his shots? Which rounds did you have Froch winning?
I came into this tournament without bias just looking to be entertained. I like the six fighters, and the different things each guy brings. Tonight I was dissapointed. I am a hardcore boxing fan who has boxed for many years. I watched the fight with my brother who is a casual fan that understands the technical aspects of the fight more than most.
Few complaints about the Taylor and Abraham fight, but nothing big seeing as how Arthur clearly won the fight in the end. Taylor warned too many times for fouls that were either unintentional or illegal..none really damaging. Arthur not warned for doing nearly as much fouling.
My big complaint is with the Dirrell and Froch matchup. Dirrell ran and held too much, that is certain. Froch also held and hit too much. Sure he had some reason to be frustrated. Dirrell's holding stems from the fact that his speed causes his to close distance rapidly and fall in as he punches. Froch just stood in front of Dirrell as this happened and Dirrell fell into him. That was the cause behind 90% of the holds. It made for an ugly fight, but what do Froch fans think he missed out on here? He could have hit Dirrell some, but in the later rounds, it was Dirrell who proved to be more effective inside. Froch wings his shots and isn't a natural inside fighter...it seems to me the British fans are acting as if he would have gotten his best work done inside??? It's funny though all the Froch fans I've seen have been able to use to defend Froch keeping his belt...well along with the you have to take the tile notion. Bottom line: Froch was ineffective. He couldn't land anything, got countered repeatedly with faster shots and to top it off, he was the guy who was hurt in the fight..when almost no one expected that to be the result.

what was the compu box analasys?
Exactly, if they would have shown stats, they would have been "close" to Marquez/Mayweather. I counted the clean shots Froch landed on less than two hands.
I agree Dirrell acted like a baby, and there may be an argument that he should lose b/c of that. To me, Dirrell clearly won that fight. 15-12 is b.s.
Learn to score fights you biased stupid ignorant ****. I'd go on but it's obviously you don't understand boxing and are jealous of America. It must suck to be such a pathetic jealous bitch.
Jealous of America? LMFAO. Yes mate - very jealous....
