Roach is more proven, and is better at adapting and moulding fighters into individuals Floyd Sr. is actually an excellent trainer, but he often tries to change his guy's styles too much, but still good trainer It's not his fault Hatton's a fucking moron who got KTFO, I don't think Floyd Sr's gameplan involved charging in, keeping your hands down and telegraphing the left hook, and then continuing to do it after Pac exploited it and KD'd him! Seriously that is one of the stupidest things I've ever seen a pro fighter do. First KD was when Hatton opened up with a wild left hook, Manny countered with a short right hook and down Hatton went. Then the KO shot, was when Hatton stepped forward with his chin up and hands at neck level, and Manny popped him. Youre still voting for Roach i hope?

It's an insult to compare roach to floyd sr. it's laughable sr. doesn't done anything to be compared to the great roach.

Roach is the better overall trainer, more accomplished, knows better the psychology of a fighter, knows how to bring the best out of him, to adapt to his fighter. Floyd. Sr is better in terms of combinations and teaching skills, that's not even close. Floyd Sr.'s pad works are outstanding, the only thing is that he doens't know how to adapt it to his different fighters. You can't train Hatton like Floyd and expect to have the same results.

I doubt it. It takes a man who's been around boxing his entire life or been a boxer to be a solid trainer, not a jazz musician. Enzo got lucky having a talented son.
