By a legitimate KO, but I expect some dodgy officiating in the Direll fight. I really hope they bring an American referee, and not one of those ones who will stop the fight the moment a fighter is in a corner and slipping punches.
I thought you said you were "done with me"?
But that was kind of like a junkie saying he's "done with heroin"...
You're hooked on harrassing me - you want to stop but you can't! :lol1:
I see that you don't want to answer my questions and instead your trying to focus on something petty which is essentially pleading the fifth. Thanks for making it so easy.
A few notes about the Kessler stoppage:
-It DID look like a quick stoppage. Even on the reply the mentioned they thought it looked a little quick because as they were saying that he hadn't fallen over yet but Tarver brought this up the next time it was shown. For the record I think it was the right call but when your Jewish it's not an incorrect call - it's proof that you hate gentiles.
-It was a championship fight that was somewhat competitive where a stoppage shouldn't be as quick and Bernstein mentioned this.
-The Ward fight wasn't as competitive nor was it a championship fight so of course a stoppage isn't going to receive the same amount of scrutiny.
He always goes against the European, but like yourself, is usually fairly subtle. A recent example is how he tried to make the Kessler-Perdomo TKO into an early stoppage, but Antonio Tarver set him straight. He never mentioned the Ward TKO in the other televised fight really was an early stoppage, with his opponent having his full wits and solidly on his feet.
"Fairly subtle", or maybe like with me there's no bias whatsoever but you're just a paranoid fool who sees things when there's nothing there in actuality.
A recent example is how he tried to make the Kessler-Perdomo fight into an early stoppage, but Antonio Tarver set him straight.
A lot of people thought the stoppage was early until seeing the second replay with Perdomo's eyes and legs all over the place.
Actually he didn't even try to make it into an early stoppage at all...
No, you'll keep on harrassing me, as you always have. You imagine me to be a person of great importance.
I'm not using "coded language" and there is no "worldwide" Tunney conspiracy. I'm just a boxing fan who would like to see everybody given fair treatment, regardless of what race they are or where they're from.
You're probably suffering from paranoid schizoprenia mt, I suggest you see a psychiatrist and discuss your thoughts about me with him.
Answer this - why in the world did you mention that he doesn't like Abraham even though they are of the same bloodline. You then mentioned that he's also of the same bloodline as Palestinians. What's the implication here?
Also, did you get a chance to read that article I posted and does that change your opinion about Bernstein hating Abraham or Europeans in general. Why or why not?
I would like to know all these supposed instances when Bernstein has been biased against an European fighter. As far as I'm concerned, he has always proven himself to be unbiased.
Thinking he has something against Europeans is just paranoia, with nothing to back up that claim.
I'm certain that he will call the Taylor-Abraham fight like it is.
Taylor was 14 seconds away from beating Froch.
I think Froch is better than Abe.
Abe is a slow starter and isnt nearly as active as Pavlik and Froch
His defense consist of standing flat footed and covering up.
A raw 1 dimensional Miranda broke Abes jaw and had him running around the ring like a fancy lad..
Abe has NEVER foguht anyone NEAR the caliber of Taylor. We shall find out if Abe is the real deal tomorrow. I think Abe is TAYLOR-made for Jermain (no pun)
You flatter me, mt, with all the importance you place on my posts! :lol1:
I never said anything about a "conspiracy" (your usual 'strawman' technique), and I had words of praise for Steve Albert, who is also Jewish.
Interesting how you are so extremely liberal when it comes to the US, but you lean far to the right when it comes to the Palestinians. Are you a hypocrite?
You didn't have to say anything about a conspiracy, it's implied. Your just using coded language. You post your true thoughts about blacks and Jews on castefootball, a white supremacist site.
LOL
When have I ever given my opinion either way on the Israel-Palestine issue that leads you to believe I'm "far right"? The only person I've attacked is YOU since it's obvious you don't actually give a damn about the Palestinians, you just use them as a way to attack Jews since your goal is to create worldwide hate against Jews no matter where they reside or what their opinions may be. The post is a prime example. You take a one or two instances about a "quick stoppage", blow them out of proportion, ignore every last time he may have complained about a quick stoppage when it may have been a non-European getting the KO, and then repeat, repeat, repeat.
As usual your dumbass is simply trying to shift the conversation about from yourself and onto me in your pathetic attempt to paint me as the bad guy.
I'm done with you. Your a ****ing clown.
People are gonna argue that Taylor has too many physical advantages and more experience that will beat Abraham. Taylor is not capable of fighting a perfect fight though. You can make a wall of text stating how he could beat Abraham, but that's not Jermain Taylor. He's an 8 round fighter. I'll believe otherwise when he proves it.
Abraham comes on strong late in fights. Taylor fades late and has a suspect chin. Abraham by KO.
Yes. I don't think he likes any European boxers, really.
But what's bizarre about Bernstein's prejudice is that Abraham isn't even of German heritage - Armenians are a Semitic people.
But then again, so are the Palestinians...
Oh wow, I didn't even see this piece of gold. Gee, I wonder what you meant by that last statement. Could it be that Bernstein is Jewish and therefore he some how must be part of the Jewish conspiracy including being a Zionist despite the fact that you know nothing about his opinions on that?
Al Bernstein will NOT be calling the fight from ringside, but from a TV screen. :)
Of course, Bernstein will be rooting for Taylor, and so he'll score every possible round for Jermain, even if Abraham's punches are cleaner and more effective.
If the scoring is fair, and Abraham wins, Bernstein will bitch that it's a robbery, like he always does! If it is fair and Taylor wins, he'll say the scores should have been wider.
If the fight is stopped, Bernstein will call it a quick stoppage if Abraham wins and bitch about it for as long as he can, but he'll agree with the stoppage if Taylor wins, even if the fight was stopped too soon!
And all the sheeple will believe whatever Bernstein says. :lol1:
I know, look at this disgraceful article he wrote about Abraham entitled "All Hail The King". Those damn Jews can never be fair!

Abraham will stop him. If he thinks Pavlik hit hard let him taste what abes got. Anyways it is in Germany unless Taylor wins every round he will lose.
Pavlik was bigger, much taller and much more busy than Abraham. Granted i think Abraham would have beaten Pavlik head to head had they fought, though styles makes fights. Since Abraham doesn't start fighting until the middle rounds and isn't a high pressure/energy fighter like Froch or Pavlik, I'm expecting Taylor to sweep the early rounds by simply giving Abraham lateral movement and letting his hands go, and i think he'll have enough strength to clinch late ( similiar to how he reacted late in the Pavlik rematch) to win a decision. Abraham isn't busy enough, and i think Taylor realizes that this is one of his last opportunities.
Lol, this turned into a bitching about commentators thread.
Honestly, I'm at the point where unless they are horribly biased, I just tune them out. It's like they aren't even there while I'm watching.
Steve Albert was a very good commentator, intelligent and generally fair and balanced in his comments. It was interesting how he brought Bernstein back in check when he began to become absurdly biased for or against boxers.
I will admit, however, that Berstein's whiny voice grates on me in much the same way as Kellerman's. I usually hope for a stoppage whenever either are commentating - to hear them for the full distance isn't a worthwhile prospect for me. :laff2:
He's gone? Awwww, man. I really liked the guy. Why'd he leave?
No idea. He's been gone too. I want to say all this year he's been gone, but I'm not entirely positive on that.
Bernstein and Albert are a great team. At times I even prefer them to Lampley and co., just for a change.
I liked Albert, it's too bad he's gone. The new guy Johnson is improving, however.
Farhood is my favorite.
