Dont buy any of this stuff about alvarez. This never came from Floyd but if Floyd takes any "stay busy" fight he loses all credibility and heres why. Floyd will not take any fight for less than 10 million Imo. To makethat much it would have to be a mega fight and if he promoted a fight against someone not a big name as mega fight he would be looked at as a joke by all. Marquez was a tuneup but he could promote that as a mega fight because Jmm was a name. i accepted it because of the layoff but now thats done with and i still think hes bypassing mosley to get pac if he wins. I believe negotiations are already going on but if he doesnt get that fight and fights a nobody instead of taking the mosley fight its clear he came back for money only without wanting to take on challenges. Yeah man I agree with TS. You can't knock Mayweather's skills. I am also a huge Floyd fan, but if he doesn't fight either Mosley, Berto, Cotto, Pac, or Clottey next he might just lose me as a fan.

If he doesn't fight Pac/Cotto/Mosley/Berto/Clottey next I will lose a lotta respect for him... I'd still appreciate what he does in the ring but I wouldn't be interested in his fights and wouldn't really support him anymore or defend him... I dont recall Floyd saying anything about Alvarez, someone asked his promoter a question and he answered it, why all the fuss. The real question is can Folyd and Arum come to a agreement for the winner of the Pac/Cotto fight, since Arum promotes both he holds all the cards not Mayweather. I would settle for a fight Berto in the mean time though.
