I'm talkin bout look at the facts. Dirrell hasn't face a top 20 even top 30 contender in his career. Fightin a guy who no one ranks less then #3 in the division, in his hometown, coming off a spectacular win, with all odds against Dirrell. Froch has so many upper hands in the this fight and Dirrell comes from the worst......I mean the worst place in America. Flint Michigan? Where there's more guns then jobs? That place makes Oakland look like Disneyland. Anyway, lookin at the facts would it be one of the biggest upset storylines ever?
Historic it could be if he wins the tournament ,even a win vs Froch Dirrell is basically a nobody except 4 his performance in the Olympics which the fight will be a extended trial of Olympics vs a Champion Britian Froch
I"m talkin look at the storyline bro, it's a movie time thing right there for Dirrell.
its a relatively decent fight with two pretty evenly matched young fighters who have yet to prove themselves...
lets just leave it at that...
Well 18 fights? Against 1 name out of em? Okay he's got the olympic experience but still he's waaay unproven, the most unproven fighter in the tournament.well true. but i think this is the perfect time for him to step up to the big boys. i mean who else was there for him to fight before he took on the top guys? there really wasnt anyone..i mean he beat hanshaw and oganov..i think its the perfect time

most historic ever???? probably not

maybe. but i think people exaggerate dirrell's inexperience. he beat hanshaw pretty handily and hanshaw was the same guy who gave roy jones a pretty good run for his money..even though roy was past his prime. people over exaggerate dirrell's inexperience big time.
no...both fighters have a lot of proving themselves to do...
froch has fought one big fight himself...and simply won because taylor tired himself out pounding in froch's face in the early rounds...
im looking forward to the fight, but easy on the "historic" references...
