Mijares continued his losing streak Angulo's loss to Cintron Ortiz quit Arreola loss to Vitali Margarito loss, then got banned Barrera loss to Khan Marquez loss to Mayweather Cintron/Martinez A draw that was almost loss by a TKO Calderon/Mayol - A draw and a Win on verry close fights Cotto/Clottey - A win but very, very, very close fight Lopez/Mtagwa- A win that Lopez barely survived Diaz/malignaggi- Diaz won but very close fight Jorge Linares loss to Salgado Orlando Cruz loss to Cornelius Lock Jose Carita Lopez loss to Sonsona

2009 was the worst year for Mexican and Mexican American boxers of this decade. Now P.Ricans are not to far behind either example Cintron/Martinez A draw that was almost loss by a TKO Calderon/Mayol - A draw and a Win on verry close fights Cotto/Clottey - A win but very, very, very close fight Lopez/Mtagwa- A win that Lopez barely survived wheres Margarito, Victor Ortiz, Ponce De Leon and Areola, or is this just a PRican thing?

None of them lost, just close fights. I don't think that's bad at all lol.

09 has been a disaster year for Mexican boxing, all thanks to Plasterito :no:.

however it is it's still a victory. Cotto is about to be in the biggest fight of the year and Juan still has a lot to learn. In the mean time u have very good promising prospects coming out. I wouldn't say its that bad. The worst that happened was fenomeno Cruz getting koed but he still has a lot to come back. It really aint that bad.
