Am I the only one who feels sorry for Fernando Vargas??

It would've been good to see him back up his skills with his trash talking, but he did have a 'gung-ho' attitude. He'd fight whoever, win or lose. At some point in his career, he decided he would fight at the biggest events and was paid well for it, despite being rushed too early.

i blame his corner, they should have thrown the towel, there was no way he was going to win that fight, and he was taking career-ending punishment at that point. You can clap for his heart, but the truth is his corner let him believe the hype, so they have this young ass kid in this position where he thinks the only way to leave the ring is with the W, or on a stretcher. Just plain dumb. We criticize fighters for quitting AND criticize a fighter for having TOO MUCH HEART?? This shit doesn't make any sense. Fernando was a ****ing warrior who always laid it all on the line every time out. How many fighters nowadays can you say taht about?

He earned my respect for getting up from 2 huge left hooks in the first round to staying in the fight until he got KO in the 12 and final round. But still, putting a 21 year old in with a seasoned veteran like Tito who also happened to be the most dangerous puncher in those devisions was a pretty stupid thing to do. I saw his acting skills in Alpha Dog and I knew he had been punched too much.

Yeah I worry about him making a comeback. After all of the punishment he has taken, and then when you consider how badly he has taken care of himself outside of the ring... its not looking pretty.

It sucks that Vargas turned out to be one of those guys who's hard to even understand. Three years ago I didn't expect it, although with his career it makes sense. He took some bad punishment against Tito and Oscar.

Vargas sould comeback and call out Mayweather and maybe you can add Vargas on Mayweathers ducking list.

Its always said when its a clear case. He used to be a very fast talker. And actually articulate.. now he barely put together words.. Its not nearly as bad as Meldric or Toney.. But its pretty bad.. 2. He's fat as hell.. He looks like chubby lesbian.. 3. He is suing his freaking MOTHER and kicking her out of his home... Unreal I smell money problems. He's talking about coming back too.. That means he is broke.. Punch drunk, fat, poor family relationship and broke..
