Who believes Manny Pacquiao is doping? I Heard this senseless accusation more frequently as the superfight draws closer. What do you think about it? Is Manny taking steroids?
no sure about him using steroids..but i do wonder how his body went from normal to bruce lee over night...anyone got any insight on that...
It does seem odd that he goes from soft to a muscled machine duing training. I would like to know what he does for a training program.
Honestly I don't think he's juicing .... I just think its ODD how big he gets during training.
I was wondering, does some steroids make you quicker? A apart from the usual training like Plyometrics to make you more explosive in movement--does certain steroid make you gain more fast twitch fibers?
I wouldn't be surprised if 80% or more of the top fighters used illegal performance enhancers.
Use doping and you'll recuperate better from a hard work-out. Hence you are enabled to train more thereby increasing your skilllevel. Nuff said.
Yes but at this level of competition, that doesn't make a big difference. Pacquiao could take all the roids Brock lesnar took, he still wouldn't defeat Mayweather and wud get taken to school.
I personally thinks even more than 85% of the sports stars take steroids.
Who have you heard accusations from? I've heard opinions offered. I haven't heard any accusations.
(Taken from the thread entitled "For those who claim Pacquiao is on steroids"):
Al Haymon: "Again, this is not an accusation or an allegation"
al⋅le⋅ga⋅tion:
1. the act of alleging; affirmation.
2. an assertion made with little or no proof.
OH, yes it is, Al Haymon.
look at the first morales fight..then look at the second morales fight
I went to youtube to check it out using video comparison of the first and second fight--his body type appears largely the same. I think the winning gloves had something to do with Pacquiao's body looking smaller, maybe it was his hair, I'm not certain. I'm sure Pacquiao may have bulked up a bit for the second fight but it could've been largely due to training but I'm not rulling out ANYTHING.
Watch closely 3:40 and 3:14 for the first and second match respectively. You'll see the entire frame of Pacquiao after the 1st round.
First fight:
Rematch:
I dont believe it til proven.

But I have to agree with you. There are quite a few anabolics that are specifically made for endurance athletes, to help cutting down the rest time of muscle so you can work harder longer, not for the creation of lean mass. I would not be surprised that a few pro boxers use it either, but only time will tell, IF the commissions really cared which I think they don't.
But hey I could be wrong.

eating and working out

I personally don't give a fukk. Skills pay the bills, that's what boxing is all about. The most determined and skilled athlete always prevails. Period

Well, you have to be cynical in general when your looking at world class atheletes but you need proof that pacquiao is roiding up. I keep asking the same questions but the people who speculate never actually answer them.
I wouldn't be surprised if PED use was pretty commonplace in boxing and all over sports.
I don't know why people act so surprised and throw out the possibility that fighters are juicing.
The world of pro sports isn't some 2nd great PE class, "it's not whether you win or lose, it's how you play the game". Athletes are in it to win it.
Maybe I'm too cynical, or maybe too many other people are just naive.
I completely agree, if it comes out any top level athlete uses PED it would not shock me. Since boxing is one of the toughest sports it does always suprise me how little is heard about guys using PED.

Normal to Bruce Lee?
Can you kindly tell me which fights?
If Pacquiao truly has the natural muscle of 130 guy, why does he balloon to 150+lbs after fights? Is there a chance he's roiding during the off-season?
