Do you feel for Cotto a bit?

Cotto is angry and when you are angry there is nothing more satisfying than beating a midjet.

I think that all the tough times and crazy shit that has happened to Cotto up to this point in his career has made him extremely motivated. I believe he wants to make a statement in the Pac fight. Not with words, but with fists. Props to Cotto, a real warrior who fights real competition.

Do you think Cotto cares what this people say? I bet you when he is going to the bank, he is laughing at guys like Pullcounter, Iceta and all his haters. He knows that they are all jealous of his accomplishments and their hate is due to him probably beating one of their fav fighters. LOL. :****you:

i don't think its a particular conspiracy, i just think they think less of pr fighters for some reason.

i honestly believe that there might be a bias against puerto rican fighters in the boxing media.they never really give enough credit to guys like tito.after tito fought oscar he pretty much went up in weight and was beating the shit out of guys, he wasn't really consdered p4p number 1, it was always a mosley or maybe even a roy jones who at that point had relegated himself to fighting guys like harding (round 2000, 2001). you could attribute that to guys believing he lost to oscar, who as far as I'm concerned would have gotten blasted by the same media had he won that fight for trying to win it the way he did, but tito was fighting top guys at welter for years, with tons of defenses at welter, and still it was oscar, mosley or someone else considered the p4p best. that's how i see it at least.

I think the majority of the poosters think you're a good poster. Maybe you pissed off a heavy rep hitter. Put the past in the past and go get greened, then you can give green k to people you like their posts, but one only has to read your posts to know that you post sensible posts. your dicision...just a heads up. Keep up the nice work! I think greened you before, but you either need a real havy hitter to turn you green or just keep posting in the green k thread. Everything is nuetral in there. No red k's allowed. I've seen some issues reslolved there. I go there all the time. I've greened you before i'm, pretty sure, but you need repeated greeneing to get out of the red. Cotto is great for the sport, and he deserves nothing but respect.

Especailly when people wanted him to fight williams after the margo treatment...that's a bit much even for him to handle. and Pull, why don't you post Cotto's jabs in your sig? Mosley lost. Your own words>"the only reason why the stats are skewed for cotto is because cotto landed more jabs than mosley, while mosley was landing bombs on this muthafukker!!! bombs!!!!!!" And if Mosely was landing "bombs" on Cotto, and still couldn't even knock him down, it shows Cotto can take it. He also avoids watching this at all costs. I mean Mosley ADMITS he lost and he's still delusional about it. I mean Cotto's jab might as well be considered a power punch, but not only that Cotto was the one in control most of the fight, and he CERTAINLY landed the cleaner, harder shots.

People love or hate me, I'll take Green K's if I get 'em, but if people judge based off the color of my rep and not the meaning behind my words they're people I'd rather avoid.

Cotto is great. He takes on everyone, comes to fight, gives his all. I have great respect for him. We need more fighters like him. I don't see why people count him out against Pac. I think it will be a hard fight with Cotto coming out on top. Either way, win or lose im sure Cottos going to give us another great fight.

I feel for him in the sense that people who have done less, get more credit than he does. Floyd is a perfect example, he's touted as P4P best when he's never even fought a top 10 P4P guys in HIS DIVISION. While Cotto has fought the top 5 P4P in the division. Then in a fight like Clottey people consider Cotto a bad fighter even though the guy could only see out of one eye, literally. Where as in the Manny fight, he lost to Morales under the same circumstances yet instead of being labeled as damaged or being a sub-par fighter he gets admired for his heart. Same situation with guys who are considered warriors, such as Morales, who not only got knocked down in his third Pac-man fight but actually SHOOK his head and quit in the middle of the ring, yet is STILL a warrior but Cotto is a quitter because he was beaten by a guy with loaded gloves. Essentially the guy really has never fully gotten the credit he deserves, so yea, I guess I feel for him but not bad. It sucks but in life you get people who hate you just because, and I have the outlook of fawk those people, until they walk in my shoes they don't know shit. I'm sure Cotto has somewhat the of the same philosophy and just gets it done in there whether people respect him, like him, love him or hate him.

Cotto is a true warrior,but he's extremely hated by people on boxingscene :dunno:

The only guy who you can say Cotto has not fought is the true champ from 140-175: Paul Williams (I actually believe Cotto would fight him in a heartbeat - Arum would NEVER allow that though). However, when your resume reads like: Quintana Judah Mosely Margarito Jennings Clottey I think I will let him off the hook....

Wish there was more cottos on the sport exactly. He goes about his business. Doesn't duck anyone. Doesn't like the attention or talk trash. He just fights whoever is in front of him.

Shit happens in boxing. Cotto deserves credit for fighting through tough circumstances.

Cotto has not ducked a single person so I don't know how people hate on him all the time
