I think he can hurt him but I don't see a KO happening.
Abraham has great defense but punches do get through, especially with someone who packs a punch like Miranda who broke his jaw. Taylor was also able to bust through Wright's guard and his face was looking swollen by the end of the fight.
Taylor could only hurt regular middleweights and small middleweights, not a natural smw like Abraham. But it remains to see.
didn't know Carl Froch was a small middleweight :dunno:
Nope.
Spinks, Ouma are blown up WW,LMW's and he could not get either of them out of there, infact little Ouma was working Taylor over at times.
His last KO was in 2005, he has gone the distance 8 times since then. If Taylor were any kind of puncher then Pavlik would of been knocked out in round 2 of the their first fight, because when Pavlik was hurt and started clowning he hung his chin and and Taylor cracked it, now like i said if you get hit that cleanly on the chin by a legitimate puncher, you aint! getting up.
I am not a AA fan but you people are underrating AA because you havnt watched him enough.
I think JT will have alot of trouble getting through AA's D. He'll be jabing gloves most of the fight.
Taylor has improved on his preparations, and since he is regarded an underdog in the tourney by many, and has his next 3 fights signed, the pressure isn't as big as it was in his defeats.
I know you can look past the way he faded against Pavlik and Froch, and I may be hoping too much. But questions regarding Abrahams passivity and the fact this is his first fight at SMW also needs answer.
JT,with good stamina = undefeated!!JT can hurt AA!!
not at all,its not just his staminia that lets him down
its his head,he fights scared after 6 rounds and just looks like he doesnt want too be in their
im surprised so many people are picking JT too win if im honest
I think JT is the favourite to win the fight. I'm saying this as a big fan of AA. JT should've everything which is needed to win if he makes use of his brain and has the right game plan.
BUT - and that's my question: What do you think is more likely, that JT knocks AA out or that AA knocks JT out?
If a KO happens Most likely it would be AA knocking out JT.... But JT can ko AA too...
this fight its not at all a mismatch IMO

Of course he can, the man is no walk in the park..
Not only he has fought great guys but his 2 KO losses were awesome fights that he was dominating, the decision loss against pavlik was closer than the cards IMO
I still have AA as a favorite but a commited Taylor can hurt anyone in his divition.. He almost had Pavlik out in a couple of rounds thats no easy thing to do considering the whooping he took agains Hopkins
yeah he can hurt pretty much anybody but finishing them is a different story
well said my dude :fing02:
I got JT by SD even tho' he'll outbox him for a UD.....the hometown scoring system has to give a card to the homeboy :lol1:.......JT can oubox him!!
Abraham goes into a shell and doesn't allow himself to be hit much. His chin has held up well when hit also. If Taylor can get his jab going, it'll definitely help. Taylor's jab is world class and great when he uses it. If he can Abraham to fall behind early in the fight, very possible, since AA seems to be a slow starter. I think AA might need to open up and punch more than he likes, giving Taylor more openings and more of chance of hurting Abraham. I think he can, but I'm not positive he will.
