It's funny how he looked right into the camera on 24/7 and lied. He knew he was running out of money and needed this fight. He got a $10 million purse for the fight and the IRS was threatening to take the 5.6 million he owed out of the purse.
Real classy dude Mayweather is.
I always grew up with two rules, neer lie on your dick and never lie about how much money you have.
Maybe that mansion and cars aren't all paid for....
Hey... side note:
That guy in your avatar owes the IRS $13 million. Not sure where he is going to get it from, but best of luck to him.
thats guy in his avatar had more balls and respect than floyd could ever hope for, he was a true warrior.
No one would have cared but Money Mayweather always points out how much money HE makes and how rich HE is. Literally throwing thousands of dollars to incite a crowd.
He made his money public knowledge by bragging about it.
At least someone gets it.
I hurt their feelings when I talked about their idol.
I was also raised with two rules:
Don't concern yourself with another man's d*ck...or another man's money.
Temoc, you didn't have those rules also?

I'm not concerned about the money he owes. I'm just laughing at him acting like a little kid and not being a man and saying he owes the money.
I don't care if he owes 1 billion dollars, I just think it's funny when people put up a front about who and what they are really about.
See a lot of that these days. Most of this generation is like that. All bark no bite but what can you expect though....
As far as Chavez, yea he's dead ass broke, who gives a fuk. The difference is he admits it. He's a man about it and he never had the upbringing that Mayweather had with his father and uncle. Chavez is REALLY from the hood, not claiming the hood and growing up in suburban Michigan.....LOL
Mayweather is a great fighter, best in the game. Have said that time and time again. As a person though, he's low class but then again, I know where he got it from.
You cats are dumb, worried about another man's money. How much he made, how much he owe. If you know anything, you know the IRS takes what you owe them. I mean if you really owe them they take homes, and cars, and shit. They put your ass in jail, like Wesley Snipes.
If you behind on the taxes, that's different it's millions on millionaires that behind on taxes.

:lol1:
good 1.....
If I may, Just because someone owes back taxes doesen't make them broke. Lots of companies owe back taxes.
E.G. If you made 100mil and you only pay 8mil in taxes, then you owe back taxes in excess of 10 mil or so.

i think the point is, floyds a ****in liar.
Like how he said he walks around 150? and alot of you believe it
and he tells everyone he's the greatest to ever live,
he has a hit list...
on and on
On other points he might be taking creative license..
But on the IRS thing, I challenge you to find where he said he owed nothing to the IRS. He just said the IRS wouldn't take any of his possessions, and that he had a good relationship with the Gov't. and surely enough, the IRS waited for his ass didn't it.
He may have been slick about how he handled the question, as he is slick with everything if you think about it, but he never outright lied about that particular issue.

TS... wrong
Mayweather said he had a good relationship with the IRS and they weren't taking nothing away from him... read: as far as possessions go.
He never said he didn't owe them, like people relish in accusing him of.
And before you say it..He defaulted on the other Rolls on purpose, and that wasn't even to the IRS, but to a bank. In a recent interview, he said he's going down to one Rolls, and one Caddy truck and getting rid of the rest of his whips.
Get your facts straight, please.
doesn't matter if floyd had/has anything paid off, because when you owe the IRS, they'll take whatever they want, whenever they want, and how much they want.
it's a classic floyd camera move to act like he's living hassle free, that life is coasting, when the IRS goons are gearing up to seize his shit.
and now floyds humble approach is due to the ass whooping he is in the midst of taking right now form the IRS, this is floyds first fight when he's the underdog, which he isnt going to win. although he will still be fine when the dust settles, this is just the reality that floyd tries to keep from the public, or anyone in his position. i just find it classic that he's talking about selling his cars, and bullshit because he's growing up, hahahaha what a laugh, he's forced into a reality that is forcing him to grow up. classic, life isnt a hip hop video where everything is bling.
this is the first fight where floyd heads into uncertainty, now if we can get him in the ring against someone who he's uncertain in winning against, that would be floyd growing up, finally, or for once.

does this go to show that pbf needs pac more than pac needs pbf?

Good pull counter Al.....
Well, there was an awful lot of gossip about Floyds finacial situation in relation to him needing to fight again and fighting for money not glory i.e. taking the biggest money fights BUT for the least amount of risk, whilst comparing himself to Ali and Robinson.
So at least now we know the truth.
