Does the winner of the Super 6 instantly become P4P#1

why would it, that'd be unfair to the #1 P4P, or #2, 3, etc. Consider this scenario. The top #1 P4P hasnt lost in years, but 1 division out side of his decides to make a tournament and the winner of it overtakes his spot? how does that make sense Maybe if the #1P4P was in the tournament, maybe.

I am assuming this is some type of joke. Will the winner be the number 1 at SMW? Yes. Will they be in contention for top 10 p4p? Sure But number 1? One of the most idiotic posts ive seen on this forum.

They shoulda just made it an 8 man standard tourney. But I think it's 4 points for a KO/TKO, 3 points for UD, 2 points MD, 1 point for a DQ. Don't quote me tho cuz I ain't sure. yea, that's what i'm saying. this really isn't a tourney, its based on "style points" depending on how you win your fights......meaning you can lose a couple fights, but win the tourney, depending on how many points you rack up...... i'm with you, it should've been a standard 8 man tournament. the way it's set up, it could actually cause more confusion, as to who's the best, when all is said and done.

can somebody clarify the official rules of the tourney? b/c i'm under the impression that EVERYBODY fights everybody, and depending on how you win, you get points..... so basically taylor could lose to froch (again), and beat everybody else, and win the tourney...... if that's the case, this isn't a tourney at all, and it could actually confuse, more than make clear, who's exactly the best at 168. Its kinda like this...say you have a super 6 at 147 which includes Mosley, Pwilliams, Mayweather, Berto, Hatton, Pacquiao....You cant say the guy is the clear #1 guy at WW, because it didn't include Cotto or Margarito. Bute is a very solid champ at 168 and Andrade and Kalzab (sp) are other top fighters not in this. Super 6 winner is still not the clear cut #1 guy at 168 when you still have other great champs and top contenders out there.

no...because contrary to what people believe, this tourney doesn't determine the clear #1 guy at 168. If Lucian Bute beats Andrade like I think he will and beats another top guy, then you can make the argument for him being the best at 168.
