Shane Mosley must of been on the shit here.............man! look how big his arms & shoulders are FFS. This was taken at the Forrest vs Mosley weigh in. Look at the pick of MAB in my avator, now look at Mosley there.

I'm dealing with a discussion forum so I can't see the person I'm talking to. Not everybody is athletic that discusses on these forums.
Mosley is always in question since Balco.
Its the same as having a shit, when you pick up the scales and test your strength whilst your on the toilet, all men do it.:rofl:
*looks at shanes pic and thinks roids....then looks at bradley's pic on TS's sig and thinks hmmmmmm*
Bradley's muscle looks a lot leaner and natural and Bradley has 5/8 % body fat and Mosley still looks way more overly muscled.
Roids don't actually increase muscle size. He is genetically able to look like that, what they do is decrease recuperation time between workouts. So I don't think that a pic is a good indicator of steroids. He just has real good genes and before boxing he was into body building. But maybe if he spent less time making his body look good and more time perfecting his skills...
His abs aren't relaxed and his muscles are flared up like he just got done doing a short exercise routine which is very likely given he is at a weigh-in.
Jump-rope, push-ups, and sit-ups will make the body tighten up and flare up.
Yes, the dates are important to discuss as well.
I just disagree that he is flexing or doing any tightening there specifically. Sure he was exercising before hand.. why not, but there isn't an ounce of fat on the skinny man to hide those bulging muscles in that pic to begin with.
Im not 5 years old, dont you think i know this? you point out some of the most elementary things that just dont need to be said because it goes without saying.
His abs are not the only thing in question though.

He is relaxed in that pic on the right Benny, you're buggin. Another thing, how far apart are those dates in the pics. Shane doesn't have the same haircut and looks leaner on the right. That doesn't look like just re/dehydration to me.

Stomach. You can flex your 6 pack with open hands. If you have abs and can see them, try it now. Stand in front of the mirror relaxed...then tense up and see if there is a difference in the way your muscles look. This requires muscles, the bigger/thicker the better, so if you don't have them then just ask somebody that does.
For me at least, it is a natural reaction to tense up my mid-section when I weigh myself.

Also do a bunch of sit-ups to get that blood flowing.

He also looks relaxed in one picture and flexing for the other.
It's the same when you see a boxer in one picture that is relaxed before the punch but capture the fighter in active motion when he is punching and he looks shredded.
And of course you have lighting and quality of picture from the camera you use.
He is flexing with open hands? he is not flexing in either pic.
Even if he is/was there is still a considerable disparity there.

Aren't bodybuilders notorious for juicing? Doesn't that kinda hamper the argument?
Yes, and No. Yes, bodybuilders are notorious for juicing. But No, I don't think it is wipes away what I'm trying to say. What they are doing with working out before they get on stage or in this case with boxers working out before they jump on the scales, increases blow flow to the muscles to get that pump looked. Add that to the decrease in water in the muscles but with blood still filling them up, and you have a shredded pump look. At least I think.
You don't think Shane is excercsing before he jumps on to the scales to make sure he makes weight?
Look at him, he has a glaze coating on his body...that's sweat.
Not positive, but I've heard when bodybuilders are in peak condition for competition, on the day of the competition, they strip the body of water and then workout right before they go out on the stage. It keeps that shredded look while the pump in the muscles is actively seen. It's also why they nearly drop dead after the posing routine and can cramp up.
