...Mayweather got booed in LV last week, Vitali this weekend in LA...
...but at least Vitali tried, Mayweather never want to...
Vitali looked a lot like Mayweather in that fight, just a clumsier version. He also has serious KO power. The fact you can pretty much bank on Vitali getting a KO or TKO makes him more exciting than Floyd, at least until Floyd decides to fight some welterweights.
Vitali tries to knock his opponents out; Floyd doesn't always.
I thought it was a smart fight and a very good performance by Vitali.
Wasn't pleased with people booing him at the end. He looked a bit shocked but handled things well.
Vitali is a part of LA and has been for some time now...as well as being the World Champion (along with his brother) who will fight in the USA and outside the USA.
There was nothing to Booo Vitali on.
I think most of the boo's came from Arreola supporters because there were a lot of cheers and some Klitschko chants too.

Floyd's style is more pleasing for me!!!!.....I speak for myself!!!.....I EXPECT Vitali to knock dudes heads off.....he towers above ALL his opponents plus he weighs like 250 something pounds......I dont wanna see a dude his size outbox a LIMITED opponent until somebody says.....thats ENOUGH!!!.....but to each it's own.......like how they say in Germany, its a geschmacksache.......Floyd got more flavor!!!(no homo)

Who Booed Mayweather last week? the people were standing and cheering several times after rounds and they even showed camera shots as lampley mentioned it. Vitali put on a masterful display of skill and ring savy. only problem is some people only want toe to toe when it comes to heavyweights.
They booed because they were rooting for Areola, but Vitali's performance was amazing for an heavyweight, I was really impressed.
Yes, Yes...I figured they booed because Vitali beat Chris, however; I was still not in favor of the booing. It was such a dominant performance from the Champion that it didn't justify booing. It's not like Chris had gone the distance and was robbed of a decision or the fight was prematurely stopped in a close battle. You can be disappointed in how things turn out while still showing respect to the Victor/Champion.
Vatali is just to big for the rest of the fighters in division. He's learned how to use his size and reach like he should and doesnt allow himself to get baited into a brawl. I like him as a fighter but he aint the P4P. He wins alot just because of his size advantage and has never faced a larger fighter. He has more advantages than Mayweather has ever had against another fighter.
I also have to post this comment on this thread, too:
IMO Floyd's and Vitali's performance nearly equals each other...both have the highest efficiency in the world today in boxing and both ain't going straight out for the KO.
The only difference is that Vitali works for nearly the whole round of each fight, is by far bigger than Floyd, doubles up on Folyd's punch output and still is in Floyd's efficiency regions - not to mention that he's fighting hands down for nearly a whole fight today...
...in a few words: Vitali is p4p, at least top20...
I disagree. They both put on a similar performance but Vitali is just too big to be aesthetically pleasing to watch compared to Mayweather who can do things like throwing lightning quick lead hooks.
Vitali can throw the lead left uppercut with a 40 percentage chance to land...

The ts is correct. There are few fighters more exrucuiatingly boring to watch than pbf. Floyd is like watching golf, vitali is like watching the NFL compared to floyd.
When's the last time you heard the crowd going bananas for a floyd fight and the crowd was supporting floyd?

Unfortunately there is gonna be a couple more vitali one sided fights for him where there is more drama and chances of mayweather getting dethroned.
Agree. Floyd is in a better situation because he has a pool of talent to pick from to fight where Vitali has nobody basically.
The fight with Lewis was very exciting and had the crowd cheering from the opening bell.
