Seriously, you're calling another fighter disrespectful. You guys. FLOYD fans.
The Flomo's are ridiculous. They were yelling for Cotto to call Floyd out and that fight would have been made on that alone. Shanes calls him out in interviews and to his face and its disrespectful and he doesn't deserve a fight with Floyd. I won't even get into Floyd antics and how disrespectful he has been through out most of his career.
This isn't directed at all Floyd ans. There are some of you who are objective and knowledgeable.
how is that shit a 'commercial'? It's just saying thanks to the sponsors. It's not like he's saying 'Yo kids, go cop some of them new Reeboks!!' He just said thanks to the reebok and the sponsors that helped put the fight together. That's a commercial? What the **** kind of TV do you watch?
lol, nobody's denying that floyd avoided the questions, but dude, the guy gets paid by his sponsors, of course he's going to use the post-fight interview to thank them. it wasn't even a ****ing commercial, he just said thanks to reebok and the other sponsors, it was kellerman who called it commercials. (as an aside, please don't let kellerman do future post-fight interviews, as he's an idiot and can't control the shit).
Its a commercial when hes shouting them out for no reason other than to get paid.
But as the thread starter said,
do you realize how retarded it sounds calling Shane disrespectful,
when,
a. Mosley is pretty much always in the ring after the main event of a GBP fight hes not in.
b. Mayweather motioned him over.
c. Shane said he wanted to fight without hurling any insults or derogatory comments.
?
Yes he waved him over, from like 3 feet away lol. dudes act like Mosley was out the ring and Mayweather called him in. He was there already, the whole thing was planned by HBO/GBP the min Max asked about Mosley.
Look at the video, before Mayweather is even done waving Mosley is right there standing next to Max.
What does it matter how far away shane was? Is shane not in the ring after every gbp ppv? Floyd called him over, shane said he wanted to fight, shane was respectful. bernard f'd that thing up so be real and blame him. mosley was still being civil while hopkins was just jailing in there.
I dont doubt that it might have been planned, what better way to hype a potential superfight. but dont act like mosley is in the wrong here. if your mad at someone be mad at bernard.
You morons need to watch the video and ask if mayweather called/waived shane over. stfu already.

the whole thing was stupid, I mean, if you're going to ask the guy questions, let him have a chance to answer. He just went 12 ****ing rounds against JMM, granted it was a blow out, but the guy just got finished with a ****ing boxing match, and now you've got like 3 guys just raining all sorts of different questions and comments on him. It was stupid, they weren't even giving him a moment to answer. Kellerman was babbling about how let's concentrate on one thing, while Mosley is basically begging for a mega payday fight, and Hopkins is adding his shit into the mix.
It was supposed to be a post-fight interview. Not some ****ing ghetto-ass debate battle. That was a seriously new ****ing low from Mosley.
Floyd didn't want to answer the questions though,
"Floyd, what about the weight"
"I'm not here to talk about money", literally seconds away from saying he had to do his commercials.
Do you understand what commercials are about?

That was DISRESPECTFUL!! he pulled a Kanye trying to take someone's else's shine, what's worst is that it was petty, it was a cry for attention. Mayweather shook his hand and spoke with class about shane Mosley. That was Mayweather's win and his moment, not Shane Mosley's.
and what do you call Mayweather announcing his comeback during Pacquiaos and Hattons moment?
I have to agree with the topic starter. As a new floyd fan :D the only thing i have to say is that people shouldn't loose things out of sight and keep them in perspective at the same time. The name is MONEY Mayweather and he;'s never really been know for his modesty or politness...what sugar did was pure hype, controversie, create spectacular media food for the big crowd. He didn't do nothing wrong. Plus Mayweather always avoided sugar in his career prior to his retirement. Sugar only recently beat Margarito (another one of my favo fighters) wich still makes him a credible aponnent for Mayweather to fight. If Mayweather want to be the greatest ever, wich he might become after just a few fights, when he retires again, wich will be rather quick ;)...closure is something he should be looking for. So settling the score with sugar should be on his list...and best before pacquiao/cotto
To be fair, things didn't go ape shit until Hopkins got there.
I love the guy and respect the hell out of him, and realize it's his job, but shit went south after.
I don't think it had to do with anything he said, but I think Floyd was really put on the defensive with him there.
Shane did not disrespect. Mayweather and Max had alot to do with Shane being there. B-Hop (Although he is my favorite fighter) is where everything went wrong.
"this is the man you need to fight. You scared of Shane"?

That was bullshit and you know it. If Floyd did that to Pac or Cottos their stans would go crazy just like Floyd's stans did. The question is does Mosely really feel that strongly, or was he just pressured by Oscar and Bernard. We all know he wants the big payday but he doesnt seem to care if it comes from Mayweather or Pac.
