Tata gets far too much hate and Clottey gets far too much credit. Who are their respective best wins? A past prime Gatti and a prime #1 Zab for Carlos. For Clottey? A past prime Zab on technical decision and a past prime blown up Corrales. Tata wins that argument. Plus Clottey got dq'ed because he was fed up with Baldo being in his face making it tough.
Give this man the respect he deserved and stop giving Clottey so damn much for "being tough." When your best wins are losses it don't say much.

Baldomir is better then he'll be remembered for, being embarassed by Floyd, but I don't think he's better than Clottey. The Judah that Baldomir fought was looking forward to Floyd. The Judah that Clottey fought was focused on Clottey, but Clottey was too strong for him and the cut certainly didn't help matters. I know Baldo beat him, but on a DQ in a fight Clottey was clearly winning up until that point? Clottey isn't an ATG type of fighter, but he's better than Baldomir, who isn't all that bad.
Baldomir is better than most think. But he's not better than Clottey.
Do you believe that Baldomir would also have given Cotto a touch match-up?
Of course. You think Cotto likes guys who are always in his face and pressuring him? That's why Tony was doing so well, plaster or not.
tszyu beat a prime judah
learn your history asshole
And so did Baldo. Come on man: Zab was the lineal champ and #1.
I'm just sick fo people thinking Clottey is good while shitting on Tata. Enough is enough!:boxing:
Those are called Robbery. of course they get credit since they won the fight.
Clottey didn't beat Margarito. Cotto fight was close, but the two knee coward did enough
A resume is everything. Losses can even be positives quite often depending on their opponent, the action of the fight and heart they showed.
Arturi Gatti has legendary status. Even his losses counted in favor for him, because he fought hard every second of every single fight.
No, it’s not. It’s about your wins. You get zero credit for losing.
When you talk who is the better fighter, you look who they have beaten. Not who have they lost too.
It's still part of the resume. A resume is wins, losses, draw, and anything else. Resume=ledger=record.
Malignaggi gets credit for his loss against Diaz, Quartey for his against De La Hoya, Oscar for his against Trinidad, etc.
Margarito yes. Marg was a plodder with poor defense. Baldo would put up a great fight
I don't see it. Everything Baldomir does, Margarito does better.
Pressure, punch output, punch variety, power, and they're about equal in chin. I can see Margarito putting so many uppercuts and right hands on CB's face it's not eve funny. Would be a war though.
Losses are part of a resume.
If you mean resume of wins then you talk wins.If you mean resume of losses then you talk losses.
General resume has both.
:lol1: What a clown that guy is. Losses aren't part of the resume... GTFOH
And not taking what happened in the loss is just nuthuggery.

You get credit for losses to,it depends on the performance, styles, wrong decisions, etc.
Everybody knows that.
Resumes consists of all kid.
Losses are part of a resume.
If you mean resume of wins then you talk wins.If you mean resume of losses then you talk losses.
General resume has both.
This is the truth.
Look at that poster claiming losses is part of a resume :lol1::lol1:

Losses are part of the resume:smashfrea and if you don't take how they lost into the equation than you're a gayweather.
You won't find many that think Baldomir could be as competitive against Margarito and Cotto as Clottey was.
Margarito yes. Marg was a plodder with poor defense. Baldo would put up a great fight
thats funny considering that clottely was whooping on baldomir till the DQ
and he's better than clottely
Resumes man. Resumes. You telling me Clottey isn't hyped more for his losses?

Baldomir is underreated for only one reason - he fought Floyd. He fought Floyd and got dominated Marquez style. I think he landed 12% of his punches, just like Marquez. He also outweighed Floyd, so the "Floyd was bigger" excuse does not apply.
He'll always be underrated because if he isn't, it would mean that Floyd would have a great win, but no one wants him to. The guy who said Clottey beat a past-prime Judah and Baldomir a prime Judah is absolutely correct. Funny how everyone mentions Clottey as a guy Floyd should fight, when he is not even as accomplished as a guy Floyd shut out.
its not hard to see what this really is about.
clottey is a better fighter than baldomir no question about it. but baldomir is a better fighter than most give him credit for ill give u that.
All about giving Tata his props. When Clottey does something as impressive as he did I will respect him. People like him for his losses.
