Cotto Have the Mid Rounds to Stop Pac (My Final Prediction)

this will be my final prediction and hopefully pac can train well in the PI so the fight might play the way i see it so we all know that pac is a quick starter, so i see the first few rds being won by pac possibly in rds 1-3 or even til rd 4. pac will hit miguel on the spot where he got cut against clottey and miguel will try to establish his jab. miguel is a great fighter and he can time his opponents well but given manny's style and weird punch angles, it will take him a few rds to do that. the best thing that miguel can do is being able to time pac as early as rd4 where pac begins to establish his rhytmn. that way, he will not only hold pac's rhytmn but will start his mid rounds, cotto's moment this may start in rds 4-7 or even til 8, pac will struggle with cotto's jab. pac will move using hit footwork avoiding to be trapped on the ropes and cotto will start hunting. cotto will land a few shots, and it will hurt pac. at this point, miguel is on his rhytmn and pac will be trying to adjust and get his own rhytmn while counter punching and surviving cotto. there will be a point where they will trade punches and pac will be forced to back and might knock down pac. cotto must finish the fight at this point of the fight. blood will be drawn, though cotto is winning, i can see cotto's cut being open slowly. the longer the fight goes, the harder it gets for cotto last rounds, and the fight outcome after an intense battle in the mid rds, i can see pac being able to fully adjust to cotto and this will be at least in rd9. he will use his speed and will hit the same spot(cotto's cut), over and over again. at this point, cotto will struggle with his stamina and will have problems fighting pac with a cut given that the cut gets worse as the fight goes on. cotto will continue to throw punches while at this point of the fight, i see pac being the agressor as he targets the cut and make cotto pay for having a bad stamina. the fight goes on til rd11, the fight gets stop due to cuts. pac wins by tko in rd11

Intersting prediction, and very possible. But lets point out cotto has stamina issues when hes fighting guys that are bigger then he is, putting pressure on him. Thats do to him having to move more then hed like too. For the first time in a while he will be the stronger bigger man. And have the comfort of going forward. Many punches at great angles. But doesnt like going backwards. And he gets caught alot off balance. Cotto wont be rushing in like ricky did. I see cotto winning decision or late ko. well, the bottomline here is that cotto have the tendency to tire and that would be a big factor in the fight. thanks for posting :cool2:

Pac will not see the seventh. Cotto is going to be on top of him and onthis fight Pac will definately get hit. Pac is going to put up a hell of fight but Cotto pressure and power will be to much for him. Cotto takes Pac out in six in six of the most action packed rounds you will ever see. well, thats possible. if cotto will ever ko/tko pac, it will be in the mid rds

If Cotto doesn't end it within 6 or his cut opens up, I see Pac gaining too much momentum and taking over the later rounds maybe even KO/TKO. yep, i think the cut will play a big role in this fight. its a matter of when will cotto time pac, and when will the cut open up :cool2:

Very good prediction man. But In my opinion I think that if there is a TKO then it would be by Cotto not Pac because he's a real WW and a hard hitting WW at that. I do agree that Miguel's best chance to win the fight will be at the mid rounds though, but I wouldn't count him out during the beginning or end. I'm not going to count out Pac either though because I wouldn't be surprised if Pac took control of the entire fight beginning, middle and end since his speed is absolutely incredible therefore getting a W by UD. I just don't think he can actually TKO Cotto since bigger guys have struggled trying to do that. With all respect to your prediction man I think Cotto wins this one because of his incredible timing and power. I wouldn't count out either fighter in this one. Goodluck to both. i think cotto can win by ko/tko as soon as he times pac which i think will be in the mid rds. i just cant see him timing pac in the early rds, thats too much to ask imo :lol1: as you can see, my prediction might have different outcomes. cotto may stop pac in the mid rds and thats possible :cool2:

LOL Quitertana :rofl:! Very good break down JM1, the only way this fight does not end like you predict is if indeed cotto will improve his stamina. I am not of the opinion that cotto gases as much as some people make it out to be. IMO in some of the fights his critics claim he was gassed they claim was because he was not engaging as much but in the mayority of those fights he was ahead on the cards and could afford to stick and move. Can and should he improve his stamina. Yes I can agree with that. So you only predict one knock down? What about cotto? manny could hit him to the body also and cause cotto some pain and unlike quintana he will probably not be able to grab manny to give himself a chance to recuperate. In fact it would not surprise me to see manny guning for cottos gut which would make the fight interesting zup bro? i actually agree with you, if cotto improves his stamina, i will heavily favor him to win the fight. and about the knock down, i wont say pac will get knocked down once or twice or whatever cause i think along the way it will happen once cotto is on his rhytmn. thanks for posting :cool2:
