Just because they are paying to see a guy lose doesn't necessarily mean that what Floyd does is good for the sport. I never said it was good for the sport. I said it wasn't going to single handidly destroy boxing. People are a bit too sensitive about anything Mayweather does. It's comical.

People have paid to see Mayweather lose for years now. No reason to believe it's going to stop now. Most will disagree with you. De La Hoya-Mayweather was the biggest boxing event in terms of money generated. The HW division is pretty much on life support right now. Very true The Mayweathers are well respected by those in the know in boxing circles. I don't think people in boxing circles really respect the mayweathers'. IMO

The Mayweathers are well respected by those in the know in boxing circles.

The Mayweather hate is kinda getting out of control. I'm starting to think it might be based on insecurity that he may actually do well and win against fighters you would rather see him lose to. That's all it is. Every fight people say will be tough for him, he makes it look easy. Then they say, "we he was running or didn't fight anybody".
