new england boxing has basically 1 promoter doing some shows but if they cant keep the better fighters happy then the 6 state region will never rise again. burchfield spends so much time trying to play the big role but he absolutely blew it with dawson. now look at him. he has matt godfrey a ranked contender and thats it i think. unless he is pinning hopes on a non-punching heavyweight named jason estrada. estrada is local anyway but as long as his father trains him he wil remain local. bring back vinny paz!!!!
I honestly believe Chad and I would still be training together to this very day if...Gary Shaw didn't come in and snatch him away...I mean, I find it hard to blame the fighter in cases like this...he wasn't happy with his promoter and went elsewhere but in the meantime, in the process, it put me in a very tough spot in the middle and I had to let it go...
They probably couldn't afford Dawson's never-ending requirement of baby wipes and diapers.
If Dawson is a baby, what does that make Glen "cry baby" Johnson?
Pertaining to the question. I've talked to Iceman Scully on the question. Dawson was originally under this promoter and was being trained by Scully. Once Gary Shaw came into the picture, he offered more money, more oppurtunities, and a world class team, something Dawson couldn't get with the New England group.
