SAN JUAN - bantamweight champion of the World Boxing Organization (WBO) Juan Manuel "Juanma" Lopez scored in the first 133 pounds of combat that prepesaje face Rogers Mtagwa at Madison Square Garden in New York on 10 October.
Lopez (26-0, 24 KOs) scored a maximum 133 pounds from 140.3 as required by the Boxing Commission of Puerto Rico (CBPPR) in a ceremony held in the gym Jose "Cheo" Aponte Sports Complex Caguas.
"I knew I was going to give a comfortable weight, but we are working to tackle difficult but a fighter with 12 losses, a fighter you do not know what's going to shoot and you have to watch," Lopez said in a press release over rival Mtagwa, Tanzania, which has a record of 26-12-2 and 18 knockouts.
"We did 133 pounds, but I do care and good nutrition and work," the Puerto Rican boxer.
Undefeated is said as to 75% of training and that detract from five sessions of sparring, the boxers performed with Jorge Diaz and Jonathan Oquendo, with whom he vied to knock two years ago.
"I made up to 10 rounds of sparring at a meeting and we're finishing. We have not reached 12, but I hope that this Thursday we make a 12-round sparring, "said Lopez, who will travel to New York on Monday, October 5th, to fulfill various promotional commitments that preceded the battle that is part of the bill" Island Warriors "series" Latin Fury 12 ".
Be the first time that Lee fight at Madison Square Garden.
As for his next engagement, after 10 October, Lee said that is expected to be with Celestino Caballero. "We are going to Knock out CABALLERO QUITAO (easy job) and then we go up to 126 pounds," he said.
By the way, Juanma still KTFO Caballero easy!!!
I think Juanma beats him as he has the better all–around skill set,but I wouldn't be so quick to say it will be easy. Remember that was the same thing most poster were saying about the fight with Mtagwa and we all saw how that turned out.
I have something to ask you hardcore Juan Ma fans? Are you going to give him a pass if he goes back to fighting scrubs even if he gets by Caballero? The Gamboa fight I've got no problem with even though he is green. He is at least fast and powerful. But like I said, no more easy touches or Lopez gets nothing from me. With that said, I do give him credit for accepting Caballero's challenge.
who did paul williams fight in his first 25 fights or manny pacquiao lets cut the bullshit about juanma fighting soft opponents he has won a title against a big puncher in ponce de leon{ ask bautitista} and beat a tough veteran in penalosa stop hating

I hope that when Caballero knocks out JuanMa early, that JuanMa feels no pain and is only unconscious for a split second.
I also hope this fight gets made.
I am glad JuanMa is entertaining this fight. This is where it's at.
VIVA EL PELENCHIN!
jrecko!! @ san juan?? wtf man?? ?what u doing here?? :boxing: u know i will look for u when the fight gets signed!! :friday:
Yea. It's called home cooking. PR is bad, so is Mexico so I can understand if a Rican were to back off a bet if the fight were there.
home cooking when only the rican judge have winning mayol against calderon??? the other two were from USA....
sorry bro..but we don't have that shit here
Juan Ma Lopez has his work cut out for him. Celly Celestino is willing to make all the concessions in the world to make this fight happen, and Lopez better man up. After this fight is over it is on to Gamboa, Santiago, and John. Those are the guys that he should be fighting if he beats Caballero. If he fights anybody worse than Caballero he is still a bitch in my opinion. 122 and 126 has plenty of quality fighters to choose from. I don't want to see fights against the Lontiachis and the Mtwagas.

this one is only for the Knock Out!!!!!!
:boxing: man up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well man don't come with that shit now... We already agree that if the fight goes to the distance nobody pay.... This one is for the knock out juanma is koing. Caballero and I'm betting on that.
I'm guessing that the 79 in his username stands for 1979.perhaps the year he was born.if this mufuka is really thirty years old, and behaves the way he does online with all his puteria about pr, he's going on ignore.dude is a grown ass man.smh.
When the fight is signed, I'll take a bet. If its in PR though I might not, just to let you know. No offense.
