Maybe it's because Pacmania has infected the common folk to the extent,that they throw logic out the window & see Pacman brutalizing him quite easily,because how he looked against Clottey,without realizing that no one who beat Clottey ever looked great doing it & Pacman himself would be over powered & ran down himself by Clottey & he feels disrespected & under aprreciated!!

I don't think its a lack of confidence at all, someone has to be the bad guy to sell the fight and it seems Arum has decided it will be Cotto.
