It's true Think about it. 1.Mosley 2.Cotto 3.Clottey Cotto fights first, so if he loses to the much smaller man in pacman he's obviously gonna lose his number 2 ranking. So Clottey will be new number 2 and Mosley number 1 therefore for Ring title am I right??

If Cotto loses to Pacquiao he would drop to around 4 or 5, so then it would be against number 1 and 2, but if he wins then it shouldn't' but linear titles have been fought over by the number 1 and three guys before.

yeah my mistake the winner of clottey/mosley will be #1, but will still have to take on #2 until the ring recognizes then as champ...but yeah i can't see how a clottey victory puts him over cotto...anyway, if cotto wins, he's in manny's place looking for the biggest money fight, forget a title

It also depends on how bad Cotto loses. If it is one-sided and a KO. Clottey should jump to #2 right away. His fight with Cotto was so damn close

it actually makes perfect sense, how do you think mosley leapfrogged cotto in the rankings? by beating the man who beat cotto...the ring title is you either beat the man or beat the man who beat the man, that simple

Cotto will beat Pacquiao and there is no chance Mosley-Clottey is for The Ring belt. Cotto beat both Mosley and Clottey so it would be unfair to put it on the line when Cotto beat both of those guys.
