Juarez a 4-1 underdog? WTF?

Off the top of my head my scoring was 1 Jaurez (closeish round) 2 Jaurez 3 John (close round) 4 Juarez (really close round) 5 John 6 John 7 John 8 John 9 Juarez (close round) 10 John (really close round) 11 Juarez 12 Juarez

popular perception is that john got robbed. That is not a good way to score fights, besides it was one of those fights that looks way different live then on TV which is what lead to that. Scores on press row varied widely 8-4 both ways so to me that shows a much closer fight then most people act like~

Does anyone else think these are great odds based on the second half of the first fight? Rocky almost had him in the 12th. If he lets his hands go early this time, a big if, then he could stop John late in the bout. Can I get a sanity check on this bet? Am I off for wanting to jump at this? Edit: These are the same odds that Marquez is being given against Mayweather. popular perception is that john got robbed.

Like I said, what the hell were you watching? I have explained my position time and again read the post below the responce to you for a synopsis. I think it is fine to say John won but by no means did he dominate and I thought a draw was fair enough well within the realm of possible scoring.

4-1 is wide but he was clearly out boxed and John should have won something like 8rds-4 sounds reasonable. I disagree with that and have argued that since the fight happeaned, you can score it 8-4 but there are atleast 2-3 close rounds that could go either way so the fight could go either way. I think Juarez blocked alot of John's shots and the ones that landed were weak while Juarez was landing the cleaner more damaging blows (except in the middle round which John clearly won). It was a close fight is my main point taht could have gone either way, so saying John won is fine but by no means did he dominate. it was not some travisty of justice (IMO) like some make it out to be.

The first fight was 8 - 4 in favor of John. I don't know what the hell people that saw otherwise were watching. 4 - 1 are great odds but he isn't going to touch John. Don't forget that John was sick for their first fight. Juarez did well in the first 4 and the last 4 rounds, John did sweep the middle rounds though. it was a close fight John could have won for sure but it was not some blow out.

Those are pretty good odds, I would not bet a lot on the fight but hey $250 to win a grand is not to shabby considering how close the first fight was. I think John should be the favorite but that number seems pretty high, so it is probably worth the risk.
